ASPCA is the WORST pet insurance out…

ASPCA is the WORST pet insurance out there! They’ve gone downhill severely in the last 2 years! They rejected a claim stating that the condition started prior to me having the cat who was rescued off the streets… So how are they stating it’s a preexisting condition, when the cat had never been seen by a vet before I rescued it. The vet put a wrong date in the record and send a letter to clear it up, taking accountability for their mistake, BUT ASPCA still rejected claims stating preexisting condition… it’s a scam “insurer” RUN DON’T WALK AWAY!!! I encourage any user who has been denied a claim improperly by this sham of an insurance company to please file a complaint with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) against them! If you search NAIC file a complaint, you will find the form, as this site does not let me include a link

I signed up for a high deductible and…

I signed up for a high deductible and pay the greater amount monthly for 90-95% full coverage yet I am not covered for basic vet checkup fees (especially if it's a reoccurring visit for the same health issue) and don't get reimbursed on flea medication or vaccines. In my opinion it is really unfortunate that these things are not included. I have been looking to switch insurances because of this. I just wish I received some type of financial help when I can't help that my cat has an eye issue and needs reoccurring visits. Maybe you do cover it within a different coverage and I am not aware but I do like the insurance but it is unfortunate that these things are covered.

$170 refunded for over $1100 in charges. This was vaccines, bloodwork prior to dental (his first ever, no major issues), and the cleaning itself. Not at all worth it.
