I Trust No Other

I have been with Petshealth for over 4 years years now. I have found them to be exceptional at handling my claims. My most recent experiences involved find two lumps on my 5 year old dog. I encountered no issues with having my dog examined and biopsied and when it was determined they should be removed-Petshealth was there with no questions asked and covered her surgery. It has been a similar experience for her most recent bronchial allergy. I have the middle tiered planned with added long-term/chronic coverage. The additional coverage for long-term/chronic was only an increase of $7/month, which I view as a small price to pay for a valued and loved member of the family. From my experiences so far, I would have to say that I honestly trust no other pet insurance and I highly recommend Petshealth.

Good for minor illness/injury

I have ASPCA insurance for my two cats and had it for my dog as well. Its affordable and easy to file with them. They are great in relation to coverage for my pets minor accidents/illness. They cover a pretty reasonable amount of the bill and have a low deductible. My only complaint is that although they state they cover 80% of illness/accident and have a high limit, they do have a limit PER incident. So, if your pet requires an expensive treatment - just know that they're only going to pay $1500 towards it and you're responsible for the rest. One of the main reasons we purchased insurance was in case anything really serious happens, we wouldn't have to be as worried about paying for any treatment. But with a low coverage cap we ended up stuck with an expensive bill when our dog got very sick.

Very Satisfied

CiCi had eye problems and due to lack of work I couldn't afford to pay for the unexpected expense. So I got her pet insurance so that my dogs health will not be compromised due to lack of funds. Thanks to ASPCA health coverage CiCi has the coverage that is suitable for her individual needs. After all she is family.

No Complaints

I've had pet insurance for my dog and two cats for about 2 years now and I have no complaints about the quality and level of service I have received so far. Although I have been fortunate to not have to use it that often, when I DID (my dog had some bladder issues) - I received confirmation my claim was received, when it was processed and I received my reimbursement in a reasonable amount of time.

Good to have protection when you need it most.

We rescued a Schnauzer that had heartworms and came with an insurance plan free for one year. Since we were not sure if there would be any residual effects from the heartworms on his heart or any other problems, we kept the insurance after that one year however it did not cover any preventative so we decided to switch to ASPCA which does cover preventative. We have been blessed to have very few problems with our dog however the preventative is such a big part of his care and expense. We are glad we have the coverage. With my last dog, who was 12, we had over four thousand dollars in expenses the last 3 months of her life and we did not have insurance. Many companies will not insure older dogs and this one does, although you do pay more it is a benefit we think is reasonable once a pet becomes older. We thought about setting up a pet savings account but just felt that the insurance would be a better option due to all the unknowns. While it can be expensive, it does allow peace of mind and ASPCA has always treated us fairly and given us good options for coverage.
