Foxtail embedded in nose

One evening my sheepdog and I were relaxing, when suddenly without warning, he jumped about three feet into the air and began to sneeze violently. I knew that the only foreign body to produce such a clinical picture was a foxtail.I drove him to the ED, where the doctor examined him, but couldn't find the foxtail, I reluctantly took him home. The following morning, he sneezed out a blood clot. This time I took him to his regular doctor, where under anesthesia he removed the largest foxtail I had ever seen. He's been fine ever since. My medical bill was for $260.00, his ASPCA insurance covered 60%. I've have had several scares with my sheep dog, but thanks th ASPCA insurance, I don't have to worry, because I know they are there for my dog at any cost. He has been insured since he was a puppy, and I'm glad he is. I am very grateful, Thank you ASPCA you really care about animals.

Greyhounds are not graceful off the track!

I have been more than happy with ASPCA. Trips to the Vet are costly and when my clumsy Boys have an accident, I have been pleasantly surprised with the polite, professional and financial help we have received.

Fair terms...

This company has been relatively fair in reimbursements and upholding policy promises but are not completely fair when it comes to THEM deciding what is claimable and what is not.

Thank Goodness for ASPCA

One day my Bentley started vomiting. He started doing this several times in one week. Hiw bowels were also very soft. You could see he was losing weight and he was moping around, not normal for him. Usually he is very playful. I took him to the Vet and they ran all kinds of tests, which you know are very expensive. With the visit, the tests and the medicine, the charge was over $500. I submitted my claim by faxing in the papers. A few weeks later, I received a check for part of the expenses. What a relief. Seems like everytime I take Bentley to the Vet, the bills are so outrageous.....and I am so happy to be with ASPCA. We insure ourselves, and we must insure our pets. They are part of our family and we love them dearly. We chose the plan that covers neutering, so Bentley is being neutered this Friday and will probably have his teeth cleaned while he is under the sedation. Very comforting knowing that part of this will be covered by the ASPCA insurance. I tell all my friends with pets that we have this insurance and encourage them to look into it for their family pets. Great help in taking good care of your pet.

I have been very thankful to have coverage on my 3-year-old boxer. She seems to have allergies and is a bit of a klutz. I've been able to have the vet take a look at her when, without insurance, I would have been a little more hesitant due to the cost of vet bills. It's a comforting feeling. However, pet insurance works differently than health insurance and you need to make sure you understand the rules, especially in regards to a condition that spans over the renewal date of the policy. It can get a little tricky. However, when it comes down to it, my $35 per month has been
