My cat thanks me for having insurance.

My cat was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. After a short time period of medication via a pill, she became very ill and needed to be taken on New Year's Day to an Animal 911 hospital. The medication, as it turns out, was severely upsetting her GI system. The hospital bill for the overnight stay with doctor care and tests was about $800. Now on a transdermal gel application, she is doing fine. I was grateful to have the insurance, which helped very much. Payment for what was covered arrived about three weeks later.

The smartest thing I have ever done.

In December 2010 my Golden (Buddy) was diagnosed with a large tumor (Sarcoma). After Surgery and a vet bill of $544.55 ASPCA Pet Insurance cut me a check for more than Half of my expenses. Almost two months later 02/19/11 (Buddy) swallowed a baby wipe that got lodged in his stomach and intestines. Less than a week after my claim ASPCA settled my claim by cutting me a check for $1500.00 Getting Pet insurance was the smartest decision I have ever made. Thanks ASPCA

Protecting my family

I would say that having pet insurance is a great thing because you never know when something may happen. My four year old Chihuahua/mutt mix began limping on both back legs. I was in such a panic. Was something wrong with his hips, his back, his joints.....the endless numbers of possible things ran through my head. With pet insurance, you have a better piece of mind on being able to handle the finacial burden that such an injury would bring. With the economy being so bad and I'm still looking for permanant work for the past year and a half,it was nice to have this to lean on. The only other thing that helped was having Care Credit also. Two things that work so very well together. Although the amount of money back on his yearly shots has been not very consistant, the processing of claims is very fast and the reimbursement on the soft tissue injury with x-rays and all, came back very quickly. It is one expense that I have, that hasn't even come near the chopping block to consider cutting.

I am glad to cover my dog with the ASPCA plan. i know if something were to happen, I can count on them to pay her bills.
