ASPCA pet insurance is one of the best decisions I have ever made. My husband and I have a french bulldog who is generally healthy, but of course something always comes up when you have a pet. He had a bad reaction to the dog flu vaccine and was in and out of the vet for 2 weeks. It ended up costing us more than $1000, but with the pet insurance we got most of that money back. He has also had bouts of giardia, and several eye accidents that have been covered. I am so thankful every time I take him to the vet that I know the pet insurance will help cover the costs.

ASPCA Pet Ins, Is a really good Idea!

We decided to get pet insurance after having two ACL replacements on our lab/newfoundland. Which cost us out of pocket over 10k. After he passed we got a puppy golden girl, and decided that it would be a good idea to get coverage while she was young and before anything went wrong. So far she is as healthy as can be. But the insurance has already paid for itself just in well visits and a small injury. Highly recomend having pet insurance.

Didn't think I would need it, great decision.

I bought this for Annie, my Shelter rescue Stafford after seeing some friends with some hefty Vet. bills. She was always very healthy with only annual visits. Six or so months after purchasing she starts collapsing for no reason which turned out to be a neck nerve issue. Two months later I find a tumor on her chest. Two surgeries later and in the second month of chemo therapy shes doing well, and I sure as heck am glad I can recoup some of the bills. Submission is easy via fax, email, mail and you can track your claims online. Payments are usually made within a few weeks of submission. Overall as pet insurance goes, this is a solid plan. Make sure you get the continuing care so you are covered from the previous year injuries.

Rip Off ASPCA

I bought the insurance and a year later my dog had to have an ACL which is common on small dogs. Since 2 years previous tot he insurance he had it on the opposite side, ASPCA concluded it was a preexisting condition. ASPCA never mentioned in their advertising or comments that such a thing could occur other than 6 months. It cost me over $2000 and when I complained, ASPCA would not even respond. ASPCA are a bunch of groups conning people who own pets with no real caring. Use another insurance company. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF.
