Your dog deserves the best

My dog had a reaction within a half-hour of having had a rabies shot. She got extremely sick in the car going home. Having had a previous history of pancreatitis, I decided to take no chances. I turned around and went right back to the vet's office. A complete medical panel was done including ALT, ALKP, AMYL, BUN, CREA, GLU. Fortunately, everything was negative. It so happens that the cost of doing this complete panel was just about the cost of the deductible on her policy. However, the ASPCA customer service representative assured me that if my dog continued to have any further reactions to the vaccine to please submit a claim because everything else would now be covered. I wouldn't hesitate to give my dog the best treatment regardless of whether she did or did not have insurance, but it was a nice feeling to know that the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance plan was there to help inany case. I would recommend them highly.

ASPCA a Fabulous Investment

I am the proud owner of 3 dogs and a cat. Shortly after I adopted my pug puppy, he jumped off a step and broke his growth plate, requiring surgery. It cost me over $3,000 out of my own pocket. I decided then and there to purchase insurance from ASPCA. About 10 months later, my cat got sick and it turned out she had a golfball sized struvite stone in her bladder. For a 4 pound cat, that was giant. We had her surgery, and made the claim to ASPCA. Within 4 weeks, we were reimbursed and the entire incident only cost us about $150 out of pocket. Not 6 months later, my border collie required surgery for struvite stones. If you love your pet and plan to provide good medical care for them, you're asking for trouble by not carrying insurance.

Excellent!

I have been extremely happy with ASPCA Insurance. I have had it approximately 2 years now. The claims are paid immediately. Whenever I call I get through right away to an agent. Everyone has been very nice to deal with and they always try to help me. I have recommended them to all my friends.

I Trust No Other

I have been with Petshealth for over 4 years years now. I have found them to be exceptional at handling my claims. My most recent experiences involved find two lumps on my 5 year old dog. I encountered no issues with having my dog examined and biopsied and when it was determined they should be removed-Petshealth was there with no questions asked and covered her surgery. It has been a similar experience for her most recent bronchial allergy. I have the middle tiered planned with added long-term/chronic coverage. The additional coverage for long-term/chronic was only an increase of $7/month, which I view as a small price to pay for a valued and loved member of the family. From my experiences so far, I would have to say that I honestly trust no other pet insurance and I highly recommend Petshealth.

Good for minor illness/injury

I have ASPCA insurance for my two cats and had it for my dog as well. Its affordable and easy to file with them. They are great in relation to coverage for my pets minor accidents/illness. They cover a pretty reasonable amount of the bill and have a low deductible. My only complaint is that although they state they cover 80% of illness/accident and have a high limit, they do have a limit PER incident. So, if your pet requires an expensive treatment - just know that they're only going to pay $1500 towards it and you're responsible for the rest. One of the main reasons we purchased insurance was in case anything really serious happens, we wouldn't have to be as worried about paying for any treatment. But with a low coverage cap we ended up stuck with an expensive bill when our dog got very sick.

Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment.
