It is important to have health insurance for your

After spending thousands of dollars trying to save one of my cats from an accident, I decided to get pet insurance for my other cat, Tita. Later on, we adopted a dog from the Humane Society, Lucy. My vet recomended ASPCA Pet Insurance. So far, I made a few claims to ASPCA. It is very easy to file a claim (fax, mail, etc.)and my money has been reinbursed very quickly. Once you file a claim the company sends you emails to update the status of your claim. I am glad I decided to que pet insurance.

Rising Cost of Health Care

Last May our rescue lab got into some insecticide. In two short seconds she ate thru a bag, ingested a very small amount which almost killed her. It cost us $4000 to save her life! The next day, Grace ran off and while gone, she ate poison that was left out at a nieghbors home. It cost us another $2000 to save her! As you can imagine my husband and I were at our wits end! This was adding up. I had looked into pet insurance but now we were taking it a bit more seriously. The ASPCA looked to be our best bet. For $70 a month we could insure all 3 labs against unexpected health costs. The last week of July we submitted our application for Level 2 insurance with the ASPCA for all of our dogs and we were accepted on August 1st. I needed just 1 month for all dogs to be fully insured. On August 31, Bowie our middle dog took off to a nieghbors home. He came right home when called and looked fine when I left. When I got home 3 hours later, Bowie couldn't get up to greet me. I rushed him to the vet! Our vet found marijuana, dirt, rocks and garbage! But there was something else, posion possibly? Bowie was not reacting well and had to stay at the pet hospital a few days. Bwoie lives but it cost an additional +$1600! I submitted our claim to the ASPCA and waited. There's a one month waiting period for your ASPCA Insuance to kick in and this incident was one day shy of that period. We held our breath for a couple weeks while it was being reveiwed and we got a check for half of the t

All Pets Need Health Insurance

After spending the cost of a new car on the medical bills of my last cat, because of various conditions throughout the years and the last months before she died her bills were extremely expensive. We got her at the age of two and she lived to be seventeen. When I got her,the Vet suggested Health Insurance. I was sorry I didnt get it. Don't let this happen to you. As soon as I purchased my Persian kitten, that was the first thing I did. We have used the insurance to cover his neutering and a bacterial problem. We have Health Insurance on ourselves, so why not our furry children. ASPCA claims are easy to submit and reimbursement is quick.

Awesome

Our dog Precious is a beagle and we have had her for 7 years. She is very smart and has brought us many years of happiness. My husband and I decided that as she grows older,we want to make sure that she has great care should she require serious medical care. She is very curious and loves to go camping with us. We chose the plan that met our needs and have submitted several claims that were processed in a timely manner.I was impressed at the different types of plans, coverage and affordability. I have called ASPCA and have always received courteous and helpful information regarding my needs and questions. I would recommend this insurance to anyone thinking about the importance of insuring their pets.

Glad to have ASPCA

"When we bought our Tibetan Terrier we immediately started searching for pet insurance and based on our research we chose ASPCA, and based on our experience so far this was the right decision. A couple of months ago our puppy caught kennel cough and struggled to recover from it, we had to make several trips to the vet and two rounds of antibiotics before she managed to recover. Submitting the claim was a streamless process, we did it all on line and the speed at which our claim was processed was great. We hope we do not have to use our insurance going forward as we want a healthy dog but it gives us great piece of mind to know that should we need to we can with ease, I would definitely recommend ASPCA to anyone"
