Pet Insurance - So Worth It!

My husband and I decided to get pet insurance after our beloved American Eskimo became ill. After numerous tests and a lot of money, we had to put her down. It was heartbreaking to lose a pet, and also difficult financially. We felt that with our next pet, we didn't want to have to worry both about their health and the expense. We looked around and tried another pet insurance. We submitted a claim, and based on how their process worked, it wasn't much of a benefit. I did some research and discovered ASPCA. I've always had a lot of respect for ASPCA because of what they do for animals, but after reading how their policy worked, I thought it sounded better than our previous insurance carrier. So far, we've submitted several claims for our dog (we have four and three are insured) and have been reimbursed a fair amount of our costs. Recently, our Chihuahua Remy was experiencing pain that couldn't be explained. While we were worried about him, it was nice to know that the bulk of our expenses would be covered. Remy is doing much better now (even though we never did figure out what was wrong with him); he's back to his playful self. We are now waiting reimbursement for our claim and when we receive it, I'm sure we'll be pleased with the amount. Thanks ASPCA for being there for us. Remy says "woof!"

Pet Insurance saves you money.

I have had ASPCA pet health insurance for several years now.I started it for my two dogs on e of which has passed away from kidney disease. ASPCA INS. was very helpfull in paying a great part of the neumerous and expensive treatments Sophie my Beagle went through. Even though we lost her in the end she had a better life with the care ASPCA helped pay for.Holly my surviving Bassett Hound is getting up there in years and needs more Vet. care as she ages. Having Pet health insurance has been a great benefit toward keeping her healthy without breaking the bank.

Pleased with service and communication

Like the fact we can fax in our claims. They respond quickly with emails. Convenient payments automatically on card. I have heard horror stories about vet bills in the thousands of dollars. Nice to know we are covered and help animals in need.

My "emergency room child" is covered!

I am the very happy owner of 2 English Springer Spaniels; Maggie & Murphy. Maggie was with us for nearly 5 years when we decided to bring Murphy into our family. Have you ever heard of an emergency room child? That would be Murph! From day one he was nipped at, developed rashes, experienced severe growing pains-you name it, Murphy experienced it. I decided right away that ASPCA health insurance was a must. Since we have been a member, there have been many more emergency visits (laceration to his lip; slip and falls on hardwood floor, etc.) Each time ASPCA processed my claims in short order. I only wish my own healthcare insurance provider was as competent!
