Very quick response time

It is very easy to submit insurance claims to this pet insurance company. I get very quick responses to my claims. Good value for the money, even in New York where veterinary bills are very high.

Greyhound emergency

I own greyhounds, 1 AKC Italian and 1 AKC Standard.I have been in dogs professionally for 35 years. I choose greyhounds to fancy partly because there are fewer health problems associated with the breed. Recently my big guy went to the vet for a intestinal blockage, I am fully aware of bloat in large deep chested breeds, but this was different and luckily the blockage disappeared. Not before many costly X-rays and late night weekend care. I chose ASPCA because they pay. While I do not agree with some of the organizations stands, I do know the level 3 coverage pays, is easy to file and I believe fair.

Are you kidding me?

I gave ASPCA a good review before but I just submitted another claim and noticed that the amount was wrong..it turns out that I got a credit from my vet's office for something I was charged for that I shouldn't have been on a different visit. So, ASPCA insurance applied that to my reimbursement even though I didn't submit the bill for payment (it was for boarding). The person I spoke to on the phone was NOT helpful and a little snarky.

I'd advise every pet owner to have this insurance.

Originally, I subscribed to the ASPCA Pet Insurance for our move from Arizona to Michigan, worried that something would happen to my two kitties on the way. Instead, it was still in force after we moved, and my "old girl" began to be ill off and on. So I've kept the insurance, and it has paid returns several times now. We never get questioned about the validity of our claim, and the payment is very swift. Good Job!!

Emma Kate's Emergency

My Emma Kate ate something that upset her stomach and she started vomiting and vomiting. I took her to the vet and got her problem taken care of immediately. I submitted my claim to ASPCA Health Insurance and was delighted to see a check in my mailbox within a month of making the claim. I'm so happy to know that my 3 dogs are all protected and that ASPCA will be there to help me when those emergencies happen.
