Great insurance, very impressed.

We adopted a senior persian cat and didn't have much hope of finding an insurance willing to cover him. The ASPCA accepted him luckily, and we assumed the coverage would be minimal at best. What we got was comprehensive coverage that was better than any of the insurances our other (much younger) pets have. A few months ago, Remington stopped eating and it took a battery of tests to find out he had kidney disease. Once that was detected, the maintenance was costly (liquid medicines, sub-q fluids, etc). In one of my claims to the ASPCA, I attached a letter and requested special consideration because I lived in NYC and the general costs were higher. They responded by covering the cost even more. I can't tell you what a relief that was. Unfortunately Remington was diagnosed with cancer last week, and it comforts me to know that cost is not what has to be first and foremost on my mind. Pet insurance really is great. There were a few times when I thought Remington might be sick or was behaving weird, and knowing that I had pet insurance was the deciding factor in taking him to the vet, and I was always glad I did. It was such a comfort to have a competent insurance company as a safety net. ASPCA also has great customer service; I like that I can call and actually talk to a friendly human being right off the bat. I don't feel like a number. If you're on the fence about insurance, do it. I'm so glad I did and I wholeheartedly recommend ASPCA.

So glad Skippy is covered by PetsHealth.

I purchased PetsHealth Care Plan for Skippy, my Lhasa Apso when I got him 6 years ago. Skippy was recently diagnosed with glaucoma and PetsHealth has reimbursed 80% of his expenses. Having PetsHealth has been the best choice I've made in regards to Skippy's care. PetsHealth has always been there for Skippy and I'm able to provide the best care for him and it gives me peace of mind.

Great investment

My lab mix was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis and required surgery. I was extremely pleased with ASPCA Pet Insurance and tell everyone how professional and caring ASPCA has been. Previously, I had pet insurance with another company. There is no comparison with regard to the level of service and the willingness to reimburse my claims.

Every little bit helps

With the cost of vet care (which is outrageous), coupled with simply having no choice but to treat our precious pets when they're in distress, I've weighed the annual cost of ASPCA insurance against the high price of a single visit to the vet, and find the cost of insurance to be well justified.

Great Piece of Mind

I have had insurance on my dog for over 3 years now and it is well worth it. you never when a dog will get sick or even hurt. my dog was run over by a truck this year when it was snowing. luckily the truck went over him and not the wheels so, he lucked out and got a bruised lung and fractured rib. i brought him to the emergency room and the bill was over 650$ and I was reimbursed close to 400$ which paid for the yearly pet insurance right there. if you love your pets then you should definetely get this insurance!
