We have two beautiful female black cats, Sheba and Isis. They are sisters from the same litter who adopted us 11 years ago. Sheba is doing great, she is always perky, always having a very "vocal" opinion on everything. Isis, is not doing so great. She has lost a significant amount of weight, and is not as active as she used to be. The vet took an X-Ray and did an ultrasound, where he has found several large masses in several areas. We know the end is near, but for now, she is being sustained on medications to help keep her comfortable. We (the vet, my wife & I) feel that for now, Isis is eating, and is moving around, can still jump onto the sofa, into our lap, and nuzzle, so we are doing the right thing for now. We are taking it week by week. As for the actual insurance coverage, I have yet to find any vets in my area with prices as low as the "average rates" that ASPCA Pet Care uses to calculate reimbursements. But, on the plus side, every little bit helps
