very helpful

I have a jackabee who had a problem with her pancreas. She was very sick and took her to her vet., filed the paperwork and received reimbursement for part of her bill. Was pleased with the service I received.

Glad I Chose To Insure My Pet

I wasn't sure about signing up for pet insurance, but I decided to give it a try and see what the results would be when and if it became necessary to use it. It did become necessary, within a few months of getting the insurance, when my Malti-Poo Riley got sick, resulting in 3 separate trips to the vet. I submitted a claim for each visit, and was reimbursed a good portion of the cost of each. I am very pleased with ASPCA pet insurance - it offset the cost of treatment so that I could focus on giving Riley the care he needed to get better. I'm glad I made the decision to get this insurance!

Timely and reasonable

My 5 year old shepard-lab mix had several episodes of vomiting and diarrhea after a recent hiking trip and I was worried that she was becoming dehydrated after all the hiking in the new england heat this year in addition to her vomiting, etc. I didn't think it was going to be an expensive trip to the vet, but you never know. I had peace of mind knowing that I didn't have to worry too much about the bill as the ASPCA has always been reasonable and prompt with their reimbursements, from teeth cleanings to coverage of her annual medications to unexpected visits to the vet.

Jack the pekingese - I like my ASPCA Insurance

Jack is my second rescued Pekingese. My first was named Charlie Brown and he was very healthy for most of his life with me (about 11 years). The last year of his life he stopped eating and lost a lot of weight, it toke the vets several blood test, X-ray, and CT scan to determine he had cancer. During these several months the vet bill was run $500.00 - $600.00 a month. After adopting Jack, I decided to get pet insurance for him. I did an internet search and talk with my vets about pet insurance companies and compared plans and rates before deciding to go with ASPCA Health Insurance in October 2009. The biggest deciding fact was the once a year $100.00 deductible, most wanted a deductible every time. Jack has been very healthy for the two years he has been with me. I have only used the insurance three or four time for small problems and once for his yearly checkup. ASCPA Pet Health Insurance reimbursed me 80% for these vet visits. Having the insurance saved me some dollars but it also gives me peace of mind about Jack quality of life.

Great program

There looked to be blood in my male cat's urine. It took several trips to the vet and different tests to determine the cause and find the solution. I was very pleased with the response time and prompt reimbursement. I am very happy with the insurance and how reasonable the cost is compared to other plans.
