More people should know about this pet insurance

I'm originally from the UK, where pet insurance happens to be very common. I asked around about pet insurance here a few years ago when I got my then kitten, Mila. I was told there wasn't any by so many people I nearly gave up until I saw a flyer for ASPCA insurance, and the rates looked good. Since then, it's saved my cat's life once (a nasty car accident that left him with a broken pelvis and a collapsed lung), and helped cure him from Lyme disease and a gastric problem. The claims forms are easy and the reply is prompt. I'd definitely recommend it, I think it's well worth it.

great investment

Having this insurance gives us peace of mind, we always dreaded the vet visit, knowing it would be hundreds of dollars. Now we don't stress about the cost, we get our little guys healthy and know we'll get our money back.

ASPCA Does Exactly What They Say

I have had no problems with ASPCA dog insurance. They do exactly what they say and in turn my dog gets the medical treatments she deserves. Thank You ASPCA

Pay Attention to the Fine Print

I paid for this insurance for 6 months and cancelled today. They interpret their pre-existing conditions clause very strictly. If your pet gets the same illness, ASPCA won't pay anything until after 180 days have passed since the illness was treated. I don't see the point of a pre-existing clause at all. Our government is about to get rid of pre-existing clauses for humans so why should this apply to our pets? Another kicker is the $100 annual deductible. It took them 2 months to process my claim because they were requesting information from the vet. I waited 2 months and they didn't help pay anything due to pre-existing conditions. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this insurance to anyone. It's just a waste of money and a lot of stress.
