I'll always have ASPCA Pet Insurance from now on.

Our younger cat, Zoe, was 10 years old before we realized it. She had always been healthy (strickly indoors)and since she was 8 years younger than our other kitty, Minnie, we thought of her as a youngster. I began to notice that she was having difficulty eating and took her to our vet. A look in Zoe's mouth told Dr. Boyd that there were problems and that she would probably need to pull at least one tooth. After she sedated Zoe and had cleaned and checked her teeth, the vet called me to say that Zoe had a serious, painful, dental disease (resorbtive lesions) and would need to see a specialist. We were impressed with the specialist recommended by our regular vet and felt confident that her recommendation that Zoe have 8 more teeth pulled was valid. The bill for the combined vet/specialist surgeries was over $1000 and ASPCA Pet Insurance reimbursed about half that amount. We only wish we had taken the Pet Insurance on our older cat years ago before she had a spinal cord injury that has cost us thousands.

Life saving, quick turn around.

I had been searching around and came on the website for pet health insurance. Having a lab puppy they tend to get into things. I actually considered cancelling the insurance a month ago, but after Buddy's accident I submitted a claim to help cover the costs of the vet bill. They were very quick on the turn around and I received a great deal from the claim. I am so glad I did not cancel this. Buddy is a member of our family and he too will get hurt. This is a great way to help protect him. I highly recommend this Health Insurance for pets.

Always buy pet insurance!

I currently have two dogs that have Petshealth Insurance, and will always keep them insured. My last two great dogs cost me thousands of dollars, so I purchased plans for the current two when they were pups. True, not every year I break even, but I know they are covered and that's a feeling. One ingested 42 earplugs a little over a year ago, and the reimbursement for that incident alone will pay for his insurance for more than two years. Information and payment has always been timely. One thing...it would be nice to have a "reasonable cost" chart. My vet is very careful with costs, and it always surprises me when I am only partially reimbursed, even for vaccines. Having the information before treatment would take out the surprise factor, and may help with disappoinment for all of your clients.

Insurance for Unexpected Pet Health Problems

I purchased this insurance for our Akita who is now about 9 years old. Luckily, I did not need to use the insurance very often as this pet has been fairly healthy. However, the policy offers peace of mind when it comes to unexpected medical expenses. It makes it easier to concentrate on diagnosis and treatment options without the monetary concerns guiding the outcome. I would find it more convenient if I did not have to submit the paperwork on my own as I often neglect to do so after I return from the vet's office. Someone mentioned to me that it would be helpful to fill in the basic parts of the paperwork and use it as a template for future vet visits. I plan to do this in the future to enable more timely submission of expenses.
