Saved us money

Our dog, Ranger, raided the pantry and got into a whole bag of chocolate chips. And he got really sick. We took him to pet emergency and they pulled him through. It was a few days of touch and go.The pet insurance saved us money and the claim was handled promptly. Glad we had it.

Excellent Service and Great Followup

My Sealpoint Siamese, Dudley, began losing weight over the past several months. My veterinarian performed all the tests he could--along with prescribing medication and a tonic. When the weight loss continued, he recommended that Dudley visit a specialty clinic in the atea. After a number of tests, he was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrone, put on a special diet and medication and is doing great !! His claim was handled quickly and efficiently--and payments were according to the policy terms.

Appreciate ASPCA claims efficiency, 11/22/2011

The claim forms are easy to understand and complete. The response time has always been acceptable as was the amount of the payment. We have five cats and presently insure two of them. We are considering insuring the other three. We have submitted several claims over the years and it has proven to be cost effective for us.

Worth every cent

Over the years we've had numerous dogs and cats who lived to be quite old, and we've never hesitated to spend whatever was necessary to provide them with needed medical care. When our female Akita became very ill at the age of 13 and a half, it took a toll not only on our family's emotions, but also on our finances over the course of the last year of her life. In just the last month, we spent over $3,000 for her care, before the vets found an inoperable brain tumor that ultimately was more than she could fight. When we adopted our next dog, a border collie mix, I decided to find coverage. After looking around and comparing, I began with ASPCA, though my mother had a different company. Now, almost five years later, we have three border collies covered with ASPCA Pet Insurance. I've always found the service to be responsive and prompt, and the representatives are all so friendly that I never mind calling with questions. The insurance has paid for itself - in peace of mind and in reimbursements. I noticed that one reviewer mentioned the pre-existing condition issue, and I'd just like to add that there is a simple (not very expensive) rider that takes care of that. By all means, get ASPCA Pet Insurance for your best friends!

Stormy heathcare

My cat, Stormy, is generally heathly but getting a little older. She's had some dental and skin problems but nothing dramatic. I am reassured having pet insurance for her - just in case. My other cat, Thunder, died of IBS a couple years ago. It came on rather suddenly and he was sick for several months before he died. If I didn't have ASPCA pet insurance, I would have had to get a second job to pay his vet bills. ASPCA is a respected company and the pet insurance is good quality and priced right. Thanks.
