Couldn't be more thankful!

At first we were skeptical about pet insurance, is it really neccessary? Yes!!! Being that we now have 3 dogs ranging in ages 4 months to 13 years we can see the reasoning behind it. We have our oldest dog diagnosed as diabetic and 2 younger Labs that are super mischievious. It has given us peace of mind that if something isn't quite right there is no need to wait to get them taken care of! Would you wait on your kids to the Dr's? Our 3 year old Lab became very ill at the age of 6 months and 3 trips to the vet later she is happy and healthy! Best part was knowing that after a total of $1500 we were reimbursed a good portion of that. That in itself paid for the policy. Just like "our" insurance policies there are exceptions but I would recommend ASPCA Health Insurance to anyone!

Fast and easy claim.

ASPCA was great, it was easy to file and I received emails keeping me updated. This is the first time that I have insured a pet and I would definetely recommend ASPCA insurance for your pets.

Major Medical

My German Shepherd had an abcess in his jaw and needed the tooth removed and lots of antibiotics - it was over $700.00. Sunny and Cassie were breeder dogs and Sunny had surgery worth over $900.00 for a mammary gland infection, Cassie had terminal cancer and her final bill was over $900.00. So, yes the insurance helped me. It takes a really long time to process the claims though, usually at least three months, which I think is an excessively long time.

I tested. ASPCA passed.

I have four pets - i decided to insure one as a test of the insurance program itself. The insurance terms were clear; i thought if i ever needed to file for it, i would know whether the plan was worth the investment as compared to just paying vet bills if/when they arose. turned out the pet i insured needed a lot of tests. ASPCA paid just as the contract said, and they paid quickly, over $500. I immediately enrolled the other three. it is worth it to me to know that i need never delay or dread a vet visit. i'm totally convinced of the value.
