DO NOT BUY ASPCA INSURANCE
ASPCA DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE THEIR POLICY UNCLEAR WHILE SIGNING ME UP AND THEN PAID NOTHING FOR ANY OF MY PET'S ILLNESSES.
I also love the mission of the ASPCA but DO NOT BUY THEY'RE INSURANCE!
I purchased the insurance for my pet 6 years ago and thought she would be well covered. She was not.
First, for every single vet item I sent in, ASPCA did pay 90% but the key was that they paid 90% on what they considered to be normal prices. Therefore, if I paid 150.00 for shots, they claimed that the normal and customary charge should have been 50 and then paid 90% of 50...not 150. This occurred on every single line item.
