Good to Fair Response to Claim

Our hound mix, Spike, was poisoned by another dog's meds at the beginning of the weekend, when my normal vet was unavailable for the emergency. By the end of the weekend, we had a $2,500 claim, and fortunately the emergency vet was able to save him with guidance from the ASPCA poison control hotline. After the deductible and deductions for items charged over the 'usual and customary charges' - about $200 excess, we recovered about $1,650, not counting the charge for their own poison control call (which they could not verify until I sent in the credit card bill, even though it had their own case number on it). The rest of the claim was handled quickly. Still, it was valuable to know that most of the event was covered and made it easier for us to make the best decisions for his ongoing care. We'll certainly keep this insurance.

Quick response time

After experiencing a serious illness with no insurance for my pet I was afraid of what other expenses might come up so I chose a plan with wellness included and gives me great peace of mind

so far, so good

I have six dogs insured with ASPCA. Over the past few years, I have had several claims, and all have been dealt with quickly and expediently. Due to the deductible I do not submit smaller claims. Instead, I consider this "catastrophic" insurance, in case something big and bad happens to one of my dogs. I am not pleased with all the pre-existing condition limitations, and that these stack up with each renewal. I suppose I should start shopping around. So many of us have older dogs, whom we love and cherish. I think we need a "medicare" plan for them, funded by pet health insurance companies as a group.

5 Bulldogs!

Our family has five English bulldogs, which we have adopted or rescued, and we have had even more over the years. All of them have come with their share of health isssues. Needless to say, our vet bills have been substantial. ASPCA insurance has beenn a lifesaver for us! It has literally saved us thousands of dollars since we enrolled in the program. Claims are always processed in a timely manner, and we have never had any issues receiving payments. ASPCA is a life-saver!

Glad to have insurance!!!!!

When our pug Trevor was hit by a car - I was happy that we were fully covered by Pet Insurance. I was able to provide Trevor with the best care possible to help this horrible accident and injury be put behind us. It was a long recovery period-but he is now on the mend. I am so happy that the outcome was a positive one. The thought of losing Trevor is imaginable.I am grateful for the care Trevor received and the insurance that covered us during this difficult time. Thank You/
