A true "heart" felt story!

During a yearly check up, my gorgeous red dobie, Marley, was found to have a heart issue, an extra beat to be precise. I know that Dobie's have a history of cardiomyopathy, so I was scared. My vet had me take Marley to a well known dog cardiologist in GA, of which I had NO idea they even existed. Marley had an echo and an ekg and while he does have an extra beat, his heart is completely normal. The bill was very high, but with the help of ASPCA's Insurance it was managable and without it I would not have been able to do it. I thank ASPCA from the bottem of my, and Marley's heart for providing me some help when it was needed.

Happy the coverage is there

My cat has developed urinary crystals (FUS); thank goodness the coverage was there to help pay for the costs. After exams, urine tests, blood tests and xrays - he is now one expensive little furball. But even with all of this going on the claim process was simple and easy, and a weight was taken off my mind and my wallet.

Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Insurance

Honestly, I have nothing to compare this insurance to. I have only had ASPCA insurance, and selected it because of its affiliation to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, assuming the insurance benefitted the cause and it facilitates taking care of a pet with its health needs. It is what it is and with over 45 exclusions, I can only guess what portion of my claim will be paid. My purebreds have been more expensive than my mixed-breeds and the insurance has probably paid for itself over the years. The policy also excludes euthanasia fees which I feel is inconsitent with the prevention of cruelty.

Benificial to us.

We have had pet insurance for 5yrs now from ASPCA. We have been extremely satisfied with the coverage. Our pet has gotten sick several times during these past 5yrs and if it had not been for our insurance we would probably had to put her down.

So far so good

I've had ASPCA pet insurance for about 6 months now. I've taken my French Bulldog for 2 separate issues. An eye infection and wart that had grown on her back leg. Both issues were re-imbursed as promised. Claims were processed within a reasonable time frame. It was very nice to be able to view the status of these online. also nice was that my vet filed the claim and any issues were handled between my vet and ASPCA. Didnt have to put any of my time on the phone etc.
