Do Not Go with this Company

I paid $35 a month for 8 years and had 8 claims. After taking out the $100.00 deductible and only covering 80% I received maybe $1,050 back of the $4,000 I paid over this time. The last year I had the plan my dog had 4 bladder infections, when she got a 5th one they refused to cover it, they now considered this a pre-existing condition, which they do not cover. They let me know that any future claims that relate in any way to the bladder (such as a yeast infection) will NOT be covered. Then they refused to use my bills towards the $100.00 deductible. My general feeling is as long as your claim amounts are low and are infrequent they will cover you, if you begin to turn in multiple claims they find a loophole or way to say it's related to a pre-existing condition. I cancelled my plan ASAP.

Glad I did not Cancel my Pet Insurance

My 14 year old Dachshund, Gisela, became very ill. I do not know what caused her problem. My speculation is that she ate the remains of a dead rodent in the backyard, but the veterinarian could not give me a definent answer as to what triggered her condition. She had to be hospitalized and placed on IVs, received numerous tests, sent home with medications, and restricted to a special diet. I was contemplating cancelling my pet insurance policy before this incident since she has been very healthy. It is a good thing I did not do so. She has made a full recovery.

What a relief

Oberon nearly died of pancreatitis. Poor little guy was so sick and couldn't eat at all. He was in the hospital for a week, so his bill came to about $3,300, but I only had to shell out about $850. The plan worked as promised.

Very quick response time, excellent cust. service!

I have 4 dogs, all insured and this allows me to recover some of my money when something happens or a procedure needs to be done. I have submitted several claims this year and have had no problems with getting them paid. They have excellent customer service and the claims are easy to submit. My only issue would be that the average cost from which they calculate the rates to reimburse you from seem to be a bit low. My vet is not expensive and they pay less than what he charges.

Prompt response to claims and outstanding support

My dog Max is an energetic Golden Doodle. In his short life he has eaten two socks, had surgery on his toe, and been injured at day camp. I am grateful that my insurance has covered most of the expenses. I think the policy is worth every penny of the cost. Thanks for being there when I have needed the help!
