They really care about animals

I have 3 cats and I've always had ASPCA health insurance for them and I couldn't be happier. My claims have all been paid very quickly and they've always been very helpful whenever I've had questions. They even called to check on my cat when she was recently diagnosed with cancer. The diagnosis is devastating, but at least I didn't have to pay for all the tests, which are extremely expensive. I got this insurance specifically for this type of catastrophic illness and I'm so glad I chose ASPCA. I recommend them to all my friends.

Biggest mistake I made last year

I would give a zero if I could. They are complete liars, scam artists and will say anything for you to join, then not cover a thing. Please please I am begging you, do not get them. We had the second to top tier in coverage, and NOTHING has been covered. One example is the vet documented that he may have a long soft palate but were unsure and wanted to revisit if any problems occurred. Well, he did, and even though it was not discovered until nearly a year later ASPCA refused to cover the surgery because there was mention of a possible issue a year. What's worse is we even called to verify it would be covered 2 weeks before and were told it would!! Or how about when he had a flare-up within the first 30 days of getting insurance, it went away, but came back 56 days later. Again, denied because he suffered the same problem (even though it was resolved) during the waiting period. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!! They got nearly $1,000 from us for a year of insurance and covered $0 out of $2100 claims submitted.

Fast Claim processing

My french bulldog Frankie, needed Emergency surgery for a blockage after eating a rubber toy. ASPCA was quick to process my claim and reimburse me. Their customer service department was extremely helpful as well. I would definitely recommend the accidental insurance, it was affordable and I was reimbursed a good amount.

Fast Service and Compassionate

Customer Service contacted us to see how our two pets were doing and sent a sympathy e-mail when they learned of our cat being put to sleep. The coverage is excellent for office visits and tests. The amount reimbursed for medication is barely adequate, as a pet owner doesn't have control over the amount charged by the vet. I'd like to see better coverage for cleaning and tooth removal. Also, it would have been helpful to know that I had to add continuing coverage before Tacori turned 10, I tried to add it and was told I could not. The price has escalated in the past 3 years, almost doubling in cost in that period of time. I'll be looking closely at the coverage at next renewal to see what is right for Tacori.

Peace of Mind

Thanks to ASPCA's affordable rates I am able to insure 3 of my cats. I have had this pet insurance for several years now and they are not only easy to work with and talk to but has helped tremendously with costly vet bills. One should never have to choose to euthanize their pet over medical bills. ASPCA brings me peace of mind when one of my cats gets sick or has an accident. My cat Rudy had some urinary issues so tests were run including X-rays and bloodwork which were costly but necessary and because I knew he was insured my decision to make sure he got the best care and right diagnosis was much easier.
