Accident

My lil girl got attacked by a larger dog; I rushed her to the er and they were able to help her. What I didnt expect was the rather large bill associated with it. ASPCA was able to save me around 50% on those bills...which is better than nothing. Aspca followed up and gave excellent customer service. Glad I switched from VPI

Pet Insurance is a Lifesaver

My Golden Retriever Lacie swallowed a rock in April. If it were not for Aspca, and Carecredit, I don't know what I would have done. The pet hospital's bill was over $2000. The Carecredit gave me the option pay the hospital up front, and Aspca paid 80% back to me. So I was able to pay the bill. Then aspca, and the animal hospital called me to check on Lacie. It was so nice to have someone care about what I was going through.

better than most

I have been satisfied with this insurance for my three beagles who are 11, 11 and 8. The plan has definitely saved me some money. They are good about following up with phone calls to see how your pet is doing. My only complaint is that , when one of my beagles had to see an eye specialist (the only one in our town), Pet insurance still reimbursed based on the average cost in towns similar to mine across the states. I understand when they do that for regular vet procedures, but I had no choice but to use the only ophthalmologist in town. This should have been take into consideration by Pet insurance. When one has only one option, the full amount should be paid for that option. It doesn't happen often but when it does it only seems fair that Pet insurance pay for all of it. All in all, it's a good company.

Easy Claim Filing

We are so glad that we took out ASPCA Health insurance on our 8 month old Papillion mix rescue. The got hold of a bone and became very ill overnight. We took her to the local Animal 911 where she stayed in the hospital overnight for xrays, fluids, pain meds and observation. I submitted the claim to the ASPCA and received reimbursement for a majority of the total of the bill in under a month. We went with the ASPCA Health Insurance program because they are a name we trust. We have donated to the ASPCA for years and they were our first choice for our Holly.
