Easy claim process and great customer service

The online member center and the claim form process was very easy to understand and navigate. We filed an estimate first and then the claim once our puppy had the surgery to fix a broken bone. Throughout the process, ASPCA pet insurance was communicative, via email and with phone calls. I was very impressed by the phone calls, which were from courteous, caring, and professional individuals.

Helpful when a crisis arrives

We have had ASPCA insurance on our Gordon Setter since she was a puppy. It is strictly for emergencies and major medical events Over the years we have had several events that generated claims. Service has always been prompt and helpful.

I'm so glad I got this insurance!

When we adopted our Sheltie we took her to our vet the next day. She gave us our health certificate and I asked her about insurance. She gave us an ASPCA pamphlet. I compared it with others online and decided to go with ASPCA. We had never had pet insurance before for any of our many pets and I wondered if it was really necessary. Bella just turned 3 yrs. old and after a horrible sickness and a lot of tests was diagnosed with canine lupus. Inherited and ongoing illness. ASPCA has been very helpful every time I have called them. They have paid claims quickly and I am so grateful that we have this insurance. Bella is doing well now and we are hoping for many good years ahead with her.

You're in Good Hands with ASPCA Pet Insurance

My lab mix Zoe developed a rare tumor on her anus. I thought it was from scooting at first & then had her anal glands expressed. The vet found the tumor & removed it in a timely fashion before it could develop into anything more serious. I sent in a claim and was reimbursed proportionately for the vet bill which was in the thousands.

Don't even think about another company.

I switched from another pet insurance co. to ASPCA and am so glad I did. My cat, Sampson, was sick with vomiting one day and diarrhea the next. I took him to my Vet where he was examined, re-hydrated, x-rayed, (thankfully no object showed up) and given 2 shots of antibiotic and one for nausea, with pills to go home with. He did recover nicely, with a diagnosis of "gastro-enteritis." My $434 claim was taken care of quickly and but for the extremely reasonable $100 yearly deductible, I would have paid only the $34. I then received a call from a very nice gentleman inquiring about how Sammy was doing. That was a very pleasant surprise but I hope that I don't have a sick kitty again for a long, long, time. I also signed up for the Well Kitty rider not only because it covers a yearly exam and shots, but also a good portion of teeth cleaning which no other company provides, that I know of. I do recommend this company to anyone that brings up pet insurance and I hope they heed my advice.
