This is a good service

My cat had an ear infection and it required 3 visits and 2 rounds of 'at home' medication. We received checks promptly after our payments to the vet.

Excellent claim service

Freddie was scratching up a storm so we finally took him to a canine dermatologist. He was diagnosed with an excessive yeast production. The meds have certainly reduced the amount of scratching but he's looking at further tests. I submitted a claim to PetsHealth, and the claim was resolved in a very timely manner. In addition I was contacted by a company representative who was very sympathetic to Freddie's plight.

Definitely not disappointed

My cat really scared me with her vomiting, diarrhea and not eating. I rushed her to my vet and they did a few tests. The result was a blockage in her bowel and to let it pass on its own. I was grateful I had ASPCA pet insurance on her. Tests on pets or humans is expensive. Then after I submitted my claim, I was informed that they were sending a reimbursement! Wow! Faster than human insurance! And then they called to see how she was doing. Really? Wow again! I'm referring this insurance to my friends who collect cats..LOL

A worthwhile investment

I have had pet insurance through Hartville Group for over 9 years on one dog and 6 years on the other dog. This year both dogs had separate, major surgeries. The insurance claims process went very smoothly for both surgeries and what would have been a major debt load had I not had insurance was only a minimal expenditure. However, where the insurance really came in handy was when the second dog's surgery went south and extraordinary life saving measures had to be taken. Having the confidence to know that you did not have to worry about affordability of the medical steps that were needed to save your pet's life was worth all of the years of premiums I had paid in the past and then some. Peace of mind at such a difficult time is invaluable and, certainly, working with the claims department at this insurance company is also a good benefit.
