Good insurance to have!

I have been happy with ASPCA Pet Insurance. The only reason I rate them 8 out of 10 is because they don't cover the Chinese Meds and the holistic meds or vitamins and supplements that my dog needs due to allergies. One of the holistic meds he takes is Thorne Quercetin Phytosome which works like Benadryl without the side effects or taxing of the liver. This supplement has practically eliminated our vet visits for skin issues caused by allergies. I would like to see coverage for these types of supplements. Customer Service at ASPCA is excellent. The staff are friendly and informative when I call in for support. I highly recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance.

There in time of crisis

Our dog, Shelby, (or our kid as we all say) had a Dx of Lymphoma on 2/1. The aftershock of hearing the total cost for treatment left us wondering how to keep on track with our normal projected expenses. ASPCA came through beautifully and painlessly. On line submission was clear and worked really well. Instructions were clear and the claim was honored in timely manner. Shelby is in remission but with more follow up treatments, but we've got it covered now. THANK YOU.

Our Pom loves ASPCA Pet Insurance

Our Pom has Diabetes for 3 years now and thanks to ASPCA Pet insurance he is well taken care of. They always come through and pay their share of Wylie s Insulin, required blood glucose curves and exams. It would be impossible to say enough great things about this service, they are spot on with their coverage per my policy. They have never ever tried to find a loophole to deny Wylie coverage for his diabetes and other illnesses. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for pet insurance.

I have been using ASPCA for years and they have been very fair with me and my pug, Mia. I have recommended them to many of my friends.

Misleading reimbursements

My coverage is supposed to cover 80-90% of the claims that I place. However, I never receive that amount back. They use misleading verbiage such as "customary costs". I'm giving this provider 3 stars because I do believe they have great customer service - the plans just don't justify the high premiums charged. I'll be reevaluating my insurer as soon as I get enough time to do more thorough research.

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment.
