Great pet insurance

I have had pet insurance just over a year for my dachshund. He had always been healthy recently he ate something bad which caused sever vomiting. That lead to bacteria in his lungs that developed into pneumonia. He was in the Er for 4 days. His bill ended up being $2500. His insurance covered $1700. That was a huge help. I filed his claim online and had the check mailed to me in a week. They call and check up on him to make sure he's doing better. Glad I have pet insurance and glad it's through ASPCA.

Satisfied

I've never used another pet insurance, so I don't have anything to compare ASPCA to but I have been overall satisfied. Feel that as the years have gone on I have had an easier time submitting claims (due to technology updates) and have also been more satisfied with my coverage/reimbursements. Overall user friendly and great customer service. When I have questions they are answered quickly and accurately. Helps me understand coverage at every turn.

A very good program - definitely worth it!

After paying big bucks on operations for our previous dog, we decided to go with ASPCA Pet Insurance for our new dog. We paid the insurance for 6 years thinking that perhaps we made the wrong choice. Then our much loved Shepherd got 'the bloat', a life threatening condition. ASPCA paid for nearly everything. Then a year later, she torn the ligaments in her knee. The operation brought her back to normal again. This was followed by the removal of 3 cysts a year later. ASPCA paid for most of each incident. We realized that without the insurance, we would have been asking if this was the end for our dog. ASPCA always calls a couple weeks after the incident to find out if everything is okay - they seem like they really care about the outcome. They don't cover everything, but when you need them the most, they are there for you. It's definitely worth it!
