Thank Goodness for ASPCA pet insurance
My new dog, Samantha, a rescue; came to me with double hip dysplasia. I knew this was a pre existing condition and wouldn't be covered but having lived through other dogs and cats and sometimes struggling with vet bills, I decided to get pet insurance and believe in the good work the ASPCA does so I chose them.
Samantha developed diarrhea off and on and went from being able to eat about anything to regularly developing intolerances to food. My vet finally said we have to do an expensive test to find out if it's her pancreas. It was and I am adjusting her food to accomodate her condition. BEcause of the pet insurance I felt no hesitation to submit her to this test to find out the truth. She is going to a specialist tomorrow to see if there is anything else we need to do to help her. Without this insurance, I would be worried all the time about upcoming vet bills and deciding what was important and what was not based on what I could afford. Now I can give my pets the very best care I can knowing it will be covered. The people at this company call to ask about SAmantha. They really seem to care and urge me to submit claims even if they may be turned down. They are quick to reimburse me on all covered services and meds. It is just a top notch company and I recommend them to everyone.
