Kodi and Shelby

I have been very satisfied with ASPCA Pet Insurance over the years. Thank goodness I have not had to use it often, The few times I did, they reviewed my claims quickly and I got a reimbursement in a very timely manner.

Great service for my pup!

I have an 8-year-old pit bull mix named Lucy who is very active. We've had ASPCA pet insurance since she was a puppy, and it has always been an affordable way to make sure she was taken care of in the case of an accident or illness. Each year a representative of the company calls me to check in on Lucy and ask how they can improve their service. That phone call is always such a pleasant surprise! Thankfully, over the years Lucy has remained fairly healthy with just a few bumps in the road. Unfortunately, the past few months we have really needed the support of ASPCA pet insurance because Lucy injured herself and it took many appointments, medications and treatments to figure out what was going on. ASPCA has been with us ever step of the way, including compassionate support when calling to ask questions about the next treatment or claim. The service is always timely and comprehensive. They really do have the best interest of our pets at heart, and I have never had to fight for coverage or understanding of our situation. I recommend ASPCA to all of my friends, and to anyone reading this!

Please read, this could happen to anyone

I have always carried pet insurance on my dogs (and I recommend that all do this). I chose ASPCA insurance based upon the reputation of the ASPCA. Our plan ran from January to January. In december a routine exam showed my dog was anemic. Initial testing ruled out the common causes. Further testing continued into January, where a serious autoimmune disease was diagnosed. To my shock all claims after January 1 were denied. Why? because the insurance has a clause that coverage for any continue cannot continue into the next plan period. So since my dog got sick in December, we only had two weeks to diagnose and treat this condition. May I point out that they denied me any further coverage before we even had a diagnosis. So much for my fancy Level 4 plan. Run like the wind from this insurance company.

Our Pets are our Family, they also need health Ins

I purchased ASPCA Pet Insurance and with in a little over a week I made a claim. I had my puppy neutered. I was amazed at fast response and payment I received. Also the amount I received. I have told my family and friends who also have pets. My husband in Sept. of last year. I got my daughter a puppy I did not have health Insurance on him and he had got into poison. That I did not know my husband had put out. And he died. This time I made sure that her puppy would be protected. I was going to make sure this one will not die on her. He is a shih tzu and she named him Fluffy puppy. And takes him everywhere. Even puts him in a baby carrier and then walks around Walmart. He is her best Friend and I am going to keep making sure he has health Insurance and I think if you want a pet then they need insurance just like us. Because they are family.

Thank you!

Elsa tore her ACL a few years ago; she's now well, thankfully, and I'm grateful to ASPCA for providing insurance that helped to offset the financial stress of her surgery and recovery. Their reimbursements were prompt and on the whole hassle free, and because of this I could focus on her recovery and overall health.
