Our Pets are our Family, they also need health Ins

I purchased ASPCA Pet Insurance and with in a little over a week I made a claim. I had my puppy neutered. I was amazed at fast response and payment I received. Also the amount I received. I have told my family and friends who also have pets. My husband in Sept. of last year. I got my daughter a puppy I did not have health Insurance on him and he had got into poison. That I did not know my husband had put out. And he died. This time I made sure that her puppy would be protected. I was going to make sure this one will not die on her. He is a shih tzu and she named him Fluffy puppy. And takes him everywhere. Even puts him in a baby carrier and then walks around Walmart. He is her best Friend and I am going to keep making sure he has health Insurance and I think if you want a pet then they need insurance just like us. Because they are family.

Thank you!

Elsa tore her ACL a few years ago; she's now well, thankfully, and I'm grateful to ASPCA for providing insurance that helped to offset the financial stress of her surgery and recovery. Their reimbursements were prompt and on the whole hassle free, and because of this I could focus on her recovery and overall health.

Very good pet insurance for my min pin

I am very happy with the way ASPCA pet insurance handled my claims. I love the fact that they have a once a year deductible instead of per incident. This makes a huge difference if you have dog that can get into things it shouldn't or is getting up in age. I find it much easier to budget the premium and have peace of mind, than to worry about a huge vet bill. Lol. I think my dog has better health insurance with ASPCA than I do.

Great pet insurance

I'm very happy with ASPCA pet insurance. I love the fact that the deductible is per year and not per incident!!! I think Ruger my min pin has better health coverage than I do. Also, I know it sounds like a lot per month, but it is much easier for me to budget the monthly cost than to cover a vet bill. Having the insurance allows me to make decisions on the best care for my dog without the money factor interfering. The claim is easy to file and if more information is needed they get it from the vet.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
