Extremely Satisfied Member

ASPCA Pet Insurance has been more than fair and expeditious in paying claims on my dog. Claims submissions were fast and easy, and I appreciated being notified as the claim moved through the process.

Definitely the best pet insurance for your Pets!

My dog Pumpkin became ill and was having a reaction to something which was making his stomach and chest cavity fill up with fluid. The VCA Animal hospital emergency visit determined that the fluid needed to be drained and he needed testing to determine the cause. After many different tests for cancer, parasite, liver, pancreas, digestive system and many others there was no diagnosis. I had purchased another pet insurance for Pumpkin as a puppy and continued the coverage although I also have the ASPCA Pet insurance. The doctors determined the only way to find out what was going on was to do exploratory surgery, where Pumpkin was under anesthesia for the 2 hour surgery which was very invasive. Tissue samples around the protective sack around the heart were taken and tested along with many other samples. The determination was that a rare bacteria infection caused a reaction within his digestive tract and inside his body to secrete fluid. During his recovery in the hospital for 4 days he was treated with antibiotics and after he was released treated with antibiotics for 2 months. He has fully recovered I am happy to say. He is a 10 year old Golden Retriever therapy dog. The other insurance only covered $3500. and nothing else, stating that is was the liver which was initially tested, and only covered that occurrence, and that was before a diagnosis was reached. I filed a review to see if they would reverse it and they die not. If it were not for Pumpkins ASPCA policy, I would have paid over $28,000.00 in bills. The ASPCA insurance covered much of the expenses and their customer service followed up to see how Pumpkin was doing and if I were pleased with the insurance. They were wonderful to work with during Pumpkin's illness and I would recommend everyone consider ASPCA insurance before any other Pet insurance! Thank you ASPCA!

Best decision I have made for my dog

I have a Beagle, and after she was mysteriously ill and hospitalized for three days, I decided it was time to stop taking chances and finally get pet insurance. It has been the best decision I have made for her. The claims are processed quickly, they follow up to make sure everything is ok, and it's easy to submit the bills. I would highly recommend this service to anyone with a four legged family member!
