Safety net

So far I have pretty much come out even with my pet bills and the insurance coverage, but it is a comfort to know it is there if something major happens. I have had large bills for surgery in the past when I did not have insurance. It is nice to expect a refund after a visit to the vet.

Easy, now pressure and glad we have it!!!

Our vet suggested that we look into getting pet insurance for our new puppy - never having had experience with looking for pet insurance OR what a dog would entail we followed her suggestion. As we read through reviews we decided to call ASPCA pet insurance - the woman we spoke to was understanding, helpful, not pushy and for $200 per/year we got our puppy insurance. Since purchasing insurance we have had three visits to the vet, three claims submitted (over a $1200) and three reimbursements in which the only amount we paid was the deductible. Submitting a claim was so simple (we did it online) and their response time was fast. We are so thankful for the choice of ASPCA pet insurance...

Easy Claims and great follow up

Ended up filing a claim this year after my dog was injured by broken glass and needed stitches. The claims process is easy, direct deposit was quick, and customer service followed up on a call to see how my dog was doing. Very happy with the service!

Don't Purchase ASPCA Pet Insurance - SCAMMERS!

I have two Chocolate Labs and one became ill with diabetes in July 2015. In one year, I havce spent thousands of dollars on vet bills. I had purchased insurance from ASPCA two years prior to my dog becoming ill and I paid a monthly premium of $85.00 for both pets. ASPCA have only reimbursed me $1,000 on my claims. They claim that I had $3,000 available for insurance period July 2015 and November 2015. During that period,ASPCA did not reimburse half of the claim amount. ASPCA only reimbursed approximately $340.00. Now ASPCA is claiming I am no longer entitled to the $3,000 incident amount because any new claims related to diabetes is considered continued care. I am only eligible fora reimbursement of upto $1,000, which they claim I've already used since Nov 2015 to date. I am filing a complaint with the department of insurance. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY! They are better insurance companies out there.
