ASPCA has been awesome so far with Sadie & Sophie.

Sadie just had a severe stomach illness. I really don't know how to spell it. However, it was so serious that if not treated immediately she would go into profound shock and die!!! She was hospitalized for seven days. They even came to the house on a Sunday to treat her. I was very scared as I had just had to put my golden down because of a brain tumor. Sadie is doing very well physically as I type. Just emotional about the loss of her brother as we all are.As soon as the claim was submitted I received an e-mail from ASPCA that they had received the claim. It wasn't long after that I received a check. It's great to know that I now have a very good and reliable pet insurance for my girls. I've had other pet ins. that was awful. Always an excuse not to pay any claims, but they sure want their premium. If and when we are lucky enough to get another Golden Retriever it will be added on with Sadie & Sophie. My dogs will get what ever they need. However, it is nice to know that there is an ins. out there that really takes care of your pets. They also call and appear to be very sincere, about how your pet is doing now. I think it's the best that I have had an experience with. I have tried 5 other insurances through the years. They sucked and the ones that did pay took 3 to 4 months to get anything out of them.

Great Service

My 7 month yellow Lab likes to her toys. I had two emergency visits and each time vomiting was induced. She doesn't get the same toys anymore. Each claims was paid per the policy terms. I suggest everyone read their policies. I have been in the insurance business for 40 years and only one client ever read his entire policy, for which I am truly grateful.

Pet Insurance during our puppy's first year

We got ASPCA insurance as soon as we took our puppy home from the breeder as a precaution since you never know what can happen to puppies. Our Shiba Inu, Pixel, is almost a year old and during the first year things have gone fairly smoothly except for a couple incidents. Everything is very simple when dealing with ASPCA and the claim process. Also, their customer service is amazing. Sometimes I get random phone calls from them asking how my dog is doing a few weeks after I submitted a claim. I know it's part of their job to do that, but I'm always exceedingly impressed by companies/employees who actually care about who they're helping and how effective they're being. My plan has some wellness coverage that covers some of Pixel's vet checkups, which is really great--especially during the first year with all the shots, checkups, and spaying. But when we had to get Pixel's baby K9 teeth removed because they wouldn't fall out on their own I was concerned because it was $600 for the surgery to remove those two teeth. I don't have dental coverage, so I figured it wouldn't be covered but luckily ASPCA knew that it would have been a general medical condition if those teeth weren't removed because it could have led to a multitude of infections not only in her teeth but it could spread to other areas as well. ASPCA covered a good amount of this surgery bill and it really made me glad I had it. Another incident where we needed our pet insurance is when Pixel was bitten by a wasp. As she is a puppy we didn't know what kind of reaction she would have to the wasp bite so we rushed her to the emergency vet. We were glad we had our plan to help cover the cost of the ER bill, as it is significantly higher than a vet check up. It's really nice knowing there is a safety net to help us out in case of emergencies. Our family is very happy we went with ASPCA for Pixel's pet insurance because she means the world to us. I would definitely recommend ASPCA to anyone interested in insuring their pet!

Great investment

I always wondered if pet insurance was right, but i really appreciated the need for it once Daisy had an accident. The claim process was easy, and paid what I expected.

Very helpful

My sweet 17 year-old cat Cloud recently passed on (yes, they insured a 17 year-old!) and I was very impressed with the service and sympathy from ASPCA pet insurance. The claim for the final expenses was paid quickly and covered even more than I thought it would. They also sent a card, which I thought was a very nice touch. I continue to have coverage on my other old kitty cat and I am glad I do.
