Pet health insurance a must!

I have had Petshealth Care plan for many years and I"m very glad I do. They have been there to answer questions, are always concerned about my satisfaction and paid for my claims quickly. With the cost of veterinary services so high, it's imperative to have insurance on your pet. This one is the best.

Always there with quick reviews

We bought insurance for our dog when he turned 6, since we didn't want to be caught unprepared. Whether covering wellness visits or injuries, I have been impressed by ASPCAs reliability and quick review process. I would highly recommend.

Reliable safety net

We've had the worst year. Lost our 8yr old German Shepherd after a brief illness and vowed never to worry about how much it would cost to save our dog. Although we did everything we possibly could for him it resulted in many thousands of $$$ that we weren't expecting to put out. The guilt I felt every time I asked how much the next test or treatment would be was heartbreaking to me. In the end no amount of money could save him but I was worried if something ever happened to our other German Shepherd, would I be able to afford more vet bills. Quickly decided to pick up this insurance upon recommendation of a friend. IT also happened to be the most affordable to us. Little did we know our younger guy would have a very bad year! There's not been anything life threatening but severe enough that I had to put several more thousands out. My biggest relief was that I didn't have to be as worried this time as to what every single item would cost. Each and every time I've submitted a claim, I've gotten a follow up call from a friendly representative to ask how my dog is and if there was anything else they could assist me with. My lastst conversation was me basically apologizing for so many claims. They assured me that's what they're here for! Extremely friendly people working for this company and I'm happy to belong to their group!

ASPCA is the Best!

We have a Labradoodle and a Maine Coon both covered by ASPCA. Both have benefited from the insurance. Knowing that you are covered makes going to the Vet an easier decision. The customer service at ASPCA is the best I have ever experienced and other companies could learn a lot by using them as their benchmark.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
