Peace of mind

I'm so glad that I was able to give Harley the care he needed when we discovered he had a luxated eye and cataracts. Unfortunately we were not able to save the eye, but he is pain free and still a happy boy. Shortly after that we discovered that he had a cracked tooth which was also removed thanks to ASPCA pet insurance. I am so thankful that I can give my boy the care he needs and know that ASPCA pet insurance will be there when I need them.

Helps me with my cat's vet bills

My cat is basically very healthy, but has had some teeth issues that have had to be addressed by extraction. It's an expensive procedure because it requires general anesthesia and a day of hospitalization. Luckily her ASPCA pet health insurance covered part of the bill, the amount of which went back into my savings account and will help cover future checkups and medications she might need in the future.

I will never recommend you insurance. Very disple

Unfair that you raise insurance due to age. Take long time for payment.

Thank goodness for ASPCA's insurance

I’ve never been one to write a recommendation online, that is, until now. I would like to express my appreciation to ASPCA Pet Health Insurance for their excellent service and their ongoing concern for my two adopted cats. I had never planned to own cats. When married, my husband and I had a dog but when it passed away we decided no pets of any kind because we worked long hours and traveled. After forty years of marriage, my husband passed away, and my friends tried to convince me to get a dog. Not wanting to be tied down, I spurned their suggestions. All the while I would listen to my friends grouse about their veterinary bills. One friend confided that she had gone into debt using her credit trying to save her ten-year-old cat that was in need of catastrophic medical attention. (Sadly, it lived only a few months after the diagnosis and treatments.) As I listened, I thought there must be another way of paying for a veterinary bill, not realizing pet insurance was available. I was pet free for two years. Then my neighbor died, leaving two indoor/outdoor cats, Clouseau and Allie, homeless. No one in the neighborhood volunteered to adopt them and my neighbor who lived next door to them was getting desperate as they were living full time outside. I finally relented. Thus, my new life with the two little buggers began. (That’s for another story.) On our first visit to the veterinarian for their shots and wellness check- up, I took—with my friend’s financial situation in mind-- brochures of three pet insurance companies. After reading them, I decided on the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance and have never been disappointed in my decision. The premiums were reasonable. Yes, each cat has had some kind of hospitalization or vet’s attention in the past five years prompting me to make some claims. In fact, one just recently: Allie was attacked by another cat in the neighborhood. She required surgery on her stomach where there were puncture wounds and an overnight stay in the hospital. Making a claim is very easy and the reimbursement for the bills are prompt. All telephone conversations have been professional and polite. I highly recommend that if you, as a pet owner new or old, are thinking of buying a policy for your pet, you buy ASPCA’s insurance. It was the best decision I ever made. In fact, I’ve even heard Clouseau and Allie smugly boasting to the neighborhood cats that their mistress provides them with health insurance. They are two
