Very Happy 1st Time Pet Owner

I have had ASPCA just about since I got my dog, he's 2.5 now. Every phone call/interaction I've had with an ASPCA agent has been PLEASANT & EASY. They care about my pet and they listen attentively when I need help submitting claims or navigating the ASPCA app or login or just generally anything concerning my dog. I haven't had a single bad interaction with the customer service which is really nice considering I'm not very technologically advanced. I believe this company is a really great option for everyone to ensure their pet with and even more so for anyone who needs help navigating apps and websites. 10/10 Thank you ASPCA for insuring my pet and helping me along the way. -sincerely, a very satisfied customer

Raising Rates

I have had this insurance for my dog since he was a puppy. 6 months ago, they said they were raising my rates, which is understandable after 6 years, except they almost DOUBLED. So the insurance that I have had for almost 6 years has become essentially unaffordable. I am very disappointed, and will probably be cancelling, as there is no longer any benefit.

Although my vet agreed that my dog was injured in an accident, ASPCA Insurance decided to decline my claim. I am not sure how my dog tore a ligament through an illness, but that was the reason listed for the denial. She plays aggressively with our much larger dog, and clearly, she was hurt as a result. I am cancelling the insurance policies for both of dogs to try to offset some of the surgery expense. Overall, the people are very pleasant, but I prefer an insurance company that is willing to pay when it's their time.
