Did not deliver what they advertised
I received this company's name and information as part of adopting from the Humane Society. I immediately went home and activated the service that same day. 4 days later, I took the two girls to my regular Vet and had them examined. It turned out that they had fleas, a cold, and ear mites; all of which they received medications for. When I called PetPartners to see how to file my first claim I was told the following:1) I can't file because the policy didn't "actually" become active until 5 days after I activated it (It was only 4 days AND this 5 day waiting period was not mentioned when I activated the coverage.)
2) They don't cover fleas or mites, even though they DO consider them parasites and admit they can endanger the animal's life
3) They "might" cover the cold and I was certainly free to file the claim though the gentleman doubted they would reimburse me for that, UNLESS I was willing to move up to the next level of service.
So, all in all, NOT the kind of service I had expected coming from an endorsement from the Humane Society. I cancelled the service that day(almost a week ago) and I'm STILL waiting for my refund.
