How to Save Money at Lynnwood Animal Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
Dr. Rupali and her team always take such good care of our furbaby. My partner and I have decided that we are willing to commute all the way from Rainier Beach for them. I always rest easy knowing that if Eevee needs them, Animal Hospital of Lynnwood is there ❤️.

The front desk gal has NO MANNERS, is rude, snarky and the new owners should seriously consider who they have as the front desk people since they are the face of your company. We called and left a message last night to cancel an appointment for our dog since my husband was not going to be able to make the appointment the next day since a car drove into our friends home and he needed to go help them with the damage. So I receive a call this morning from whoever is at the front desk stating "So I got your message this morning- are you aware of our cancellation policy?!" And I stated "uh no..?" and she responds "you don't get our emails or texts?!" to which I responded "no I've never received any emails from you- I do get text reminders about appointments", to which she responds "well what is the reason your cancelling?!" very aggressive in tone the entire conversation- and I said "I'm sorry but we have friends and a car went through their house last night so my husband needed to go over to help", to which she GRACIOUSLY (NOT) finally stated "Okay well I guess I'll let it go this time....." to which I just let her know "don't even worry about it we will never be back" and she responded "perfect" before I hung up. I hope the owners do look at reviews and take to heart the things people say- I work at a front desk and I can not IMAGINE a situation where I would call someone and be so incredibly hostile and rude for a last minute cancellation for something that was truly out of anyone's control. Whoever you are at the front desk- I hope your day gets better and your mother should have taught you to treat others how you'd like to be treated.

This is just another medical company that prioritizes money and does not care about the well being of the animal or owner!! Just another corrupt company! I would give them 0 star if I could. I had awful service when first showing up to the clinic and they were extremely unkind to my dog. It was my first time visiting the clinic after moving from Colorado and we were hoping to find a vet were we could get him neutered. As well as potentially finding a vet that we can call for basic care for both of our dogs. He is extremely attached to me and my partner and even struggles with separation anxiety. When showing up to the clinic they gave me no direction on where to go. I walked in and they immediately got extremely upset and told me someone would help me at my car. I was given no prior direction before showing up for our appointment. Even though we spoke to them on the phone twice before the appointment. I showed up for our 1:45 appointment and after telling me to wait in my car. I didn’t receive help for another 10 minutes. When coming out they already thought I had been given paper work when I hadn’t received anything. They did not inform me on any expectations for our appointment. Which would have been nice to have been told, that we would not be allowed to go in with our dog (we would have made other decisions) and would have decided not to go to this clinic because of our dog having anxiety about being separated from us. They would not let me go in with our dog, making him act out when he got inside away from me. Apparently he was nipping at the nurses (something he has never done before), which they than attempted to put a muzzle on him which he has never been introduced to one of those before. Which made him even more uptight and aggressive. Dogs have emotions just like humans. They were not treating him with any regard to his emotions. After traumatizing him! I decided to not proceed with getting him neutered there because I was already extremely unhappy with the service. They literally saw him for fifteen minutes probably less and charged us 68.00 dollars for nothing. After we left our dog was literally shaking in the car from being so scared and traumatized. It is messed up to put a muzzle on any dog without first introducing it to them especially if there owner/family they are comfortable with is not present. I am disgusted by the service and treatment of this place! It breaks my heart these people are the ones supposed to be helping out pets.

I was introduced to Dr Sodhi by a dear friend over a year ago when Western Medicine was only going so far for my beautiful shar-pei, Stoli, who had been diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. She was originally given 3-6 months to live, and we extended her life longer. Though we took our baby girl to him at the end, I know that we could not have asked for a better doctor to not only validate the hard work it took to keep her healthy in her terminal state, but to also help us keep her comfortable in her final weeks. He personally called me to inform me of her new blood test results after her first visit with him, and to discuss options, and what the results meant for her quality of life. Although she was in a very dire state (close to the end), he expressed sympathy and how well as dog parents we have done to give her every chance at living out a healthy life. Dr Sodhi gave us a few supplements that we could try to help her eat a little more and assist in her energy levels. They did help her! My baby girl had never taken to a vet so quickly; she walked right up to him, jumped on him and immediately began loving on him like they were best friends. In her last moments, before we let her pass since her quality of life was no longer there, she licked him goodbye, and we all, Dr. Sodhi included, sat with her. I have never met a doctor with more compassion for animals and their owners who love them. I also brought my 11 year old lab Bailey to see him after our first experience with Stoli. Bailey has despised veterinary offices since he was a pup and has super high anxiety, so when he sees Dr Sodhi, he sits with ease. Bailey has already had one major surgery and recovered beautifully. Also, we went over supplementation (super simple stuff to add to his diet), and proved through validated blood testing that my home cooking has been working and he is super healthy at his mature age. He also took the time to figure out some cost- effective alternatives to meal prep for him since Bailey has allergies. I would never have even thought of those options on my own without his help. Above and beyond. I love that I have a vet that I trust and will always treat my animals with love and compassion. I know that my furry kids will be patients of Dr Sodhi's for life. Thank you so much!!

Dr. Sodhi and her team are amazing. Seriously best vet we’ve ever had. Been with them for 3 years and can’t imagine going elsewhere. Dr. Sodhi genuinely cares for my animals, ensures they have what they need, and call often to follow up to make sure things are going well. Highly recommend!
