How to Save Money at North Creek Pet Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
We switched vets to join this one under the advice of my 21 year old daughter who is studying to be a veterinarian. She worked at several different clinics and told me this one was the best because of their friendliness and really, because of how diligent they are with sanitation and ISO protocols/procedures. I want a safe place to take my dog and of course, good service. After a few visits and dog issues they’ve helped me through, I should thank my kid for the referral. I like that I can get an appointment without a big deal and the prices are good too. Nothing but happy! Highly recommend!

Our family was looking for a new veterinarian for our three cats - Shane, Usagi and Smokey. We are so happy we found North Creek. Everyone here has been extremely helpful and friendly. We really like Dr. Brooke Johnson and the way she handled our kitties. We look forward to a long-term relationship here as our kitties age into their senior years. Thank you for making us feel welcome!

We have been taking our dog here since he was 8 weeks old he is almost 6 now. We have never had a bad experience at North Creek pet hospital. Although the staff has changed over the years they've continued to provide our dog excellent care. I think their fees are probably about the same as other places but I honestly don't know as we haven't gone anywhere else. North Creek pet hospital has been very good about getting us in if our dog has an emergency need.

I’m very disappointed with North Creek Pet Hospital. I have taken my dog, Tyson, to North Creek Pet Hospital for a number of years. To get the best care for him and stay within my budget I decided to join the Paws program. I was happy with this service for years. Being a senior dog, Tyson had taken a turn in his health and we had to make the heart wrenching decision have to put Tyson to sleep. This happened on July 27th. I had never put a dog to sleep and I had no idea just how much grief I would be in. A week (or however long) after his demise I got billed by the Paws program for the month of August. I then called the vet to let them know about this and to have them refund the August amount. I was told that they could not refund me for the month of August but that they would cancel the service moving forward. I talked to a manager and was told the same thing. I was told I should have cancelled sooner. I was in so much grief from my dogs passing that I didn’t think about it and now I cannot get a refund for one month??!! Since I used the vets services to have Tyson put down shouldn’t they have known and cancelled the program for me? I believe that it should be automatically cancelled if the vet is helping in the process of putting your beloved family member to sleep.
