How to Save Money at Allure Integrated Pet Specialists
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.
How Do You Choose the Right Pet Insurance Provider?
Pet Insurance Review makes it incredibly easy for pet parents to select an insurance provider they feel good about. You can use our handy comparison tool to get the gist of what a company offers. Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
Weird review but coming here was the worst BEST experience. I had to come in as an emergency to put my sweet dog down and from start to finish everyone was sweet, kind, caring and respectful. Every single person here was unbelievably kind and understanding. I was a sobbing mess, and so was my husband. Everyone handled us with care and love. They were so gentle to my dog as we said goodbye and gave us all the time in the world. We just bought a house two days ago and so we were tight on cash. But they explained the price break down and gave us the information and left the room so we could decide in peace. 635$ for paying with card for private cremation, er consultation, and urn. The urns came in beautiful different shapes and sizes. 10/10 recommend. I hated putting my dog down but loved that we trusted Allure to do it.

took my dog there after a seizure they found the problem pushed for more tests it’s true they are only serious about the money there. After we couldn’t afford to keep my dog in oxygen for another night we had to take her home. They told us that we should just put her to sleep because that’s what it will lead to and she’ll suffer. We were crying there learning that it’s death, and the lady is making jokes while we are balling our eyes. She pushes us saying that they can offer the service to do it for 150 or so. We said we will think about it and come back if she starts to look like she’s really bad. The lady tells us well if you leave and come back it’ll be more. But if y’all do it now it will be less. Are you kidding she's making jokes, pressing to kill her, and when I picked her up the next day they didn’t even know what was this stuff all over her. She had this weird stuff all over her fur. They were clueless didn’t even notice it on her. Will NEVER COME BACK. Long story short had I listened to them, my dog would not be here today she is fine and got better.

My husband and I recently visited the ER department October 5-6, 2023. Not gonna lie I was hesitant at first because of the bad reviews but due to them being the only ER Vet open close to us, we had no choice. I went in with a lot of hesitation but honestly, the staff here was beyond expectations. We called ahead (because I always do this) snd as we entered they greeted us using first names and our pet as if we already met. By the time we got into a room, another vet tech came in and already knew the background and we didn’t have to repeat the issues 100x. Although we left without our baby Gunner, they made us feel so welcomed and loved and I swore at one point they were tearing up. Never have I ever experienced such a bittersweet moment but the care from all the staff was amazing. The doctor on call (I think Maria or Marie) went above and beyond checking out Gunner and even let me see all the images. Honestly, if they weren’t so far I’d use them as our everyday vet office but I hope these review eases the minds of those on the fence about this place because it’s worth more than 3.4 stars.

I had a very old sick cat with me who needed humane euthanasia and they were just where I needed to be. Took me right in. Explained everything. Yes they ask for money before services. They couldn’t be in business if they didn’t. Perfect for us on a Sunday morning. So happy they were there to help us. Rip tanner. Best cat ever

I cannot thank this team enough for taking care of my grouchy girl! She got into a bouquet of flowers that included a lily, which are highly toxic to cats, and got pollen all over her face. Even water from the vase can be fatal and lead to kidney failure. Luckily they were able to take her in and treat her right away. The entire process was stressful not knowing if she was going to be okay, but the staff was very knowledgeable and made me feel like she was in good hands. I also appreciate their frequent communication. I got regular phone calls throughout the day with any updates, and that was very reassuring. Tonight I got to take her home and she is very happy to be back! I would definitely recommend in case of emergencies!
