We received outstanding care today at Urgentvet. The office visit price was reasonable and the costs of testing and treatment very clear prior to treating. Testing was a little pricey but so is everything and I again think reasonable to an urgent situation. Joey was amazing from start to finish. She was extremely professional and I truly felt that she cared for my pet and for my own well-being. She took my info on the phone and made the entire visit a pleasure. Dr. Swanson was knowledgeable and considerate. She sat and conversed with me and answered all my questions and gave helpful perspective to our issues. I would highly recommend this facility with urgent vet issues.

Wow! There is a reason this place has 5 star reviews! I took my cat here and drove about 40 minutes since my current vet (that was closed) recommended them! They took my cat and I right into a room and took my nerves right away! Very nicely set up and clean!!! London actually let them touch and handle her which isn't easy to do with her... I recommend them it is worth the drive if you live south Austin!

I can’t say enough about how great the service was when I took my dog in on a Saturday. My dog is very difficult to manage with shots, drawing blood and general checking over. So much so that my regular Vet would sedate her and still couldn’t get the job done. Karen and the others did it all and more without any sedatives. I was in awe of this being possible. I wish they could be my primary Vet!!! They don’t use extreme stress causing tactics either, just determination, positive attitude and professionalism! Very thorough and caring also. This an authentic review by me btw!

Took our cat in at 5:00 on Thanksgiving Day. Got right in with a thorough exam, issued diagnosed and sent home with medication. Doctor was incredibly patient and listened to what we thought. So relieved to have an after hours reasonably priced option. Did I mention Thanksgiving DAY? Oreo says, "Thank you UrgentVet!"

I had quite a bit of trouble finding a vet that would take my kitty in for a minor sickness. I was recommended UrgentVet in Lakeway by another vet’s office who couldn’t see me. I was hesitant at first to go to Lakeway from Austin, but after talking to them on the phone I felt much better about making the drive. I was able to make an appointment on line to see my kitty right away ( the 4 other vets I talked to prior were anywhere from 3 days to a week out). Simply put, the staff was Amazing! They were very helpful, got us right in, and took great care of my baby. I was extremely w me symptoms it would be something very major and would be very costly. It turned out to be a relatively minor issue, ( not the major one I expected it to be) and the vet even encouraged me to start with the easiest and cheapest option, and to watch my kitty to make sure that he gets better, with the option to do more intensive diagnostics later and only if needed since he wasn’t in immediate crisis. The vet even helped me by recommending products for my other 2 kitties also. The vet and tech were both super friendly with me and my kitty and even took pictures of Sammy Cat! Fast, extremely helpful, very friendly, absolutely amazing. I couldn’t have had a better experience and came home very relieved. Awesome job guys! 🤗
