Dubious Ethics

Just heard that they are closing. Could not happen fast enough. Some of their "rotating" vets knew nothing of TX rabies vaccination law or chose to mislead. I felt like I was being upsold during the entire visit. Sent complaint to corporate in Waco. Never heard a word back from them. Glad to see them leave our community.

My Dotty needed her teeth cleaned, her Vetinarian Doc. Bennett went to Heaven so she was well past her normal cleaning time so we scheduled her with Buffalo animal Hospital she was there at 0800 hrs.I was introduced to the Vetinarian upon request, they explained the prices ahead of time so I knew the cost, well she needed a cleaning and some extractions, which was done at the cleaning so one time anesthesia, they cut her nails, expressed her glands, cleaned her dark circles around her eyes. I picked her up at the specified time she was a very happy girl, she was sent home with antibiotics and some dental treats to keep her teeth clean, I was very pleased with the knowledgeable staff and Dotty was comfortable with them so we have found a new Vetinarian.

Called to set up appt for my dogs rabies and possible nail clipping. Uponn arrival I was informed only 1 dog had an appt but they could squeeze others in. They had been here before and were all under my name. Weigh in happened...and then the wait. Another client showed up and suddenly I'm asked to pay additional $25 each for being a walk-in. I informed them I called for appt for my dog (s) plural, they were not walk-ins but the waiting room was filling up, so i declined their treatment, I'm sure to the joy and relief of others listening to discussion...we just didn't fit in. I won't be back.
