How to Save Money at Dr. Kerry's PETVET
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google

If you’re looking for a “cheap” vet she may not be the one for you, but she is affordable. Most ask for “cheap”, but my pets deserves the best shot at health and that’s what I’ve found at this location. She practices based on evidence based medicine/whole pet concept , and not just what’s pushed by the industry. I trust her to make recommendations based on what’s best for my pets long-term.

I tell EVERYONE about Dr Kerry. She’s the most incredible vet and woman. She’s taken SO much personal time to help me with my babies. She’s helped saved my dogs life and has gotten prescriptions to me when I’m out of state for work. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND every single time. She truly cares and is by far the most knowledgeable vet I’ve ever worked with. The holistic approach is my preference as well, so I’m so thankful that she’s well versed in that.

My dog got WORSE after coming here, we went it for a visit for his nose, NOT a food consult I got charged extra for it when all I wanted was to find what was wrong with his nose, mind you was not figured out at all. I was laughed at and made to feel how horrible of I person I was because I wasn't feed MY dog want Dr.Kerry feeds hers. So following doctors prescription we switched to her recommend raw food which he was allergic to and we told her all about my dogs allergies, thats when he got bad. didn't seem to care about my dog at all she looked at him for 5 seconds out of the hour we were there, I messaged her about him getting worse she didn't respond all but 4 days later and said bring him in again, he wasn't doing good at all and she waited 4 days to say to bring him in, only seemed to care about things that weren't the issue and bring in my dog in and the money for things she charged me I didn't want nor ask for. HIS FOOD WAS FINE, he was heathly good weight and beautiful coat, again after coming here he got un healthy patchy coat and skin issues. Thanks. Very unhappy :(

An amazing Doctor. My new puppy was needing to get a vet. Before I could get one set up he had an emergency and I took him to a 24 hour clinic. I did not like the diagnosis so I found Dr. Cline on Google. Close to my house, needed a new Vet, this worked well. Today I brought my puppy in with the emergency report from the 24 hour clinic. She reviewed the information, showed me the issue and set my puppy in the right direction. Not only was she very attentive, clear, simply explain, patient and provided analogies for the diagnosis. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kerry is the BEST veterinarian out there. If you want someone who listens, who is holistic, who is an advocate your pet, then come see her. She is always helping our community...for example: each month doing a low cost vaccine clinic & helping neighbors who are in need during natural disasters, etc. You can't go wrong with her. Your pet deserves the BEST, which is Dr. Kerry FitzPatrick.
