How to Save Money at Faithful Hearts Mobile Veterinary Services - End-Of-Life Care
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
I beyond grateful to Dr. Alissa, Blake and Melissa for all they have done to help with the difficult decision of saying goodbye to Zeus. They were compassionate, professional and understanding through one of the hardest days of my life. Zeus fell asleep forever in one of his favorite spots. I can't thank them enough for how much they helped, and the mementos I received as well as the information about grief and loss. If you have to say goodbye to your fur baby I would definitely recommend Faithful Hearts to help your baby cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of their own home.

I rarely leave a review, but Faithful Hearts deserves one. They are an INCREDIBLE service. First of all, they responded to texts, which was very helpful since I'm not sure I would have been able to make functional sentences when scheduling them to come over. When here, they were respectful and worked smoothly and quietly behind the scenes, allowing me and my husband to mourn and spend beautiful final moments focused on our beloved dog. They left behind very helpful pamphlets to help with the grieving process as well as a note letting us know that they will honor our dog on their social media on a certain date in the near future. They also offered to contact our vet, which is super helpful since I did not want to have to call and tearfully cancel pills and appointments. A few days later, we were then sent a hand-written card from them as well a notification that they will be donating to a worthy cause in honor of our dog. We are very impressed with them and I highly recommend. Thank you, Faithful Hearts, for understanding our deep connections to our beautiful pets.

I’m so thankful to have found such kind and caring people to help both my pets cross over together. It was such a relief to not have to put my large dogs through the added anxiety & pain of stressful car rides or new places at the end of their lives. She explained everything before and during the procedure and allowed me as much time with my pets as I needed to say goodbye. After spending the last 12 years together, I am glad that neither had to endure the loss of the other. Both dogs were carefully and respectfully carried out on stretchers for cremation (covered with a blanket and their heads on pillows, I don’t know why but it made me feel better). They also made sure to leave my pets paw prints with me before leaving. I have nothing but kind words about these people and the service they provide to the community.

What can I say that hasn’t already been stated? The sheer patience and compassion was astounding, and the kindness shown both myself and my sweet Smelly is beyond words. Not one soul wants to be in these situations, making the choice to say goodbye. Faithful Hearts, made the transition and the decision less heavy on my heart, simply because there was no judgement. Only compassion. I said goodbye to my child, my companion, my best friend, and my pillar. I said goodbye to my 19 year old Smelly Kitty Jutsu, and it shattered me. Faithful Hearts helped her gently and with love to gain the wings she so rightfully deserved, and afterward? They offered me support in my grief. I only wish I’d known about them sooner, if only for the senior hospice care they provide. Amazing, compassionate, service.

I can't say thank you enough. I had to put my best friend of 12 and a half years, Charlie, down in February. She really didn't like strangers and the vet was always upsetting for her. Thanks to Dr. Anderson and her husband, Blake, we were able to say goodbye at home. They were so incredibly kind and compassionate to me and Charlie on the most unbearably painful day. Even though she didn't like strangers, Charlie seemed at peace with Alissa and Blake there. They even brought her a treat to eat while the sedative was administered so she didn't even notice. She fell asleep and passed with her head resting on my hand and a belly full of treats. Thanks to them, I can look back on the hardest day of my life knowing my girl was at peace, at home, and handled with care. Again, I can't express the depth of my gratitude to Faithful hearts. Thank you so much for your kindness and the service you provide.
