How to Save Money at Vet to Pets Mobile Veterinary Services
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

Dr Trammell and her husband were amazing. Start to finish of their visit to our home to help with the transition of our beloved dog Abe, was nothing short of professional and loving. Our family gives our gratitude and love to these two great souls that the universe bestowed upon us this afternoon. The personal touches and kindness showed from them were far beyond anything I had imagined and it was needed in this time for our family. If you need help in any facet of veterinary services, from routine exams to end of life services, I highly recommend Vets to Pets.

I cannot recommend Vet to Pets enough. We had 2 dogs that needed updated on shots and a full run through plus we just rescued a puppy that needed the works including deworming. These amazing people showed up and rescued the day with our dogs. They showed love, compassion, respect and listened to every concern I had. In 30+ years of owning dogs, I have honestly never met a more honest and loving vet. Our 2 dogs have major anxiety and always had to be muzzled at other vets. Today, they were welcomed with open arms and guess what... no muzzle. They were given hugs and love when receiving their shots and enjoyed their treats at the end. Our dogs came back into the home and settled in immediately. It was very minimal stress on them and it made a world of difference. Another huge perk, they don't up sell, they give you options, answer all of your questions and do what you decide to do. Again, I cannot thank this team enough for helping us get all of our dogs back on track all in the midst of the chaos with rescuing another dog. They really are a judgement free, compassionate, community serving team that the world needs more of ❤🐾

Only giving 5 stars because 10 isn't an option! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have been thoroughly impressed with Dr. Michelle and Mr. Brian with every visit. They have clearly found their calling, as they have an obvious love and appreciation for animals of every shape and size. They are personable and knowledgeable. We took our (now almost 12 year old) Husky to 3 different vets trying to figure out what was wrong. But Dr. Michelle took the time to listen to our concerns, examine our pup, and do additional research to determine that she has periodontal disease. Then worked with us to create a plan to help get our baby back to her happy, healthy self. Our bully is a rescue and, as such, is scared of pretty much everything. Yesterday she walked right out with Mr. Brian and hopped in the van. The convenience factor of having them come to your house is just icing on the cake. It is the best service I’ve ever experienced, and I feel completely confident when my babies are in their care. I could go on and on, but I’ll end with this. I don’t typically go onto the internet and leave reviews, but I sought out their page solely to leave this today. If you are looking for someone that will love your pets as much as you do, will listen to you, will take the time to build a relationship with your pet, will research and learn about your pet’s specific needs, and will provide them with the best possible care, then Vet to Pets is the place for you!

If 10 stars was and option, it still would not be enough! Dr. Trammell & her husband offer services(everything a vets office has) that I can not attach a fair value to. They were more than willing to go out of their way to make sure we were comfortable & I truly believe that is their goal, our overall well being. My 85LB dog is loud, sensitive & leash aggressive so going to the vet is VERY stressful for both of us. I could not stop saying "this is great" the entire visit. I am still in shock with the overall visit! Thank you both for making your dream a dream for us! ALSO, Thank you Henry for making it happen! You guys rock!!!!!!!
