How to Save Money at Ridgeview Veterinary Clinic
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
Last week, we had a scare with our 10 week old puppy, Cooper. We were terrified of possible parvo, or skeptical (probably even hopeful) of parasites or something else - but our little food hound didn't eat his breakfast and had been experiencing diarrhea for quite some time. I had already been looking for a veterinary office for him prior to our emergency, and I'll honestly admit that I was hesitant because they are a new clinic. That morning, though, for some reason (and I thank the good Lord) I decided to call this clinic first. They got us in right away. Let me tell you, I am so absolutely grateful that we went to Ridgeview Veterinary Clinic! The clinic may be new, but the knowledge, experience, professionalism, and most importantly the absolute love, care, and dedication that we experienced here is unrivaled. Dr. Caelli Edmonds took her time with us (absolutely no rush at all, other than being quick to start examining and helping little Cooper), was extremely compassionate, she was straight-forward about thoroughly explaining her professional opinion, thoughts and concerns with me. She took the time to figure out a testing and treatment plan that we could both be satisfied and financially sound with for Cooper, and she happily answered every single question (hopefully you can imagine how many I had for her based on how long my reviews are) throughout the entire visit. Most importantly, she instantly instilled and maintained a calm confidence in her and her professional knowledge and abilities that we desperately needed in a veterinary doctor. Not only was Dr. Caelli Edmonds absolutely wonderful, but her choice in an assistant (or the clinic's choice) was also impeccable. Cassandra was right there the entire time, not only gently and attentively helping Dr. Caelli Edmonds with Cooper, but also listening and paying perfect attention to detail as the doctor spoke. She continuously provided costs for each test and each treatment that was mentioned (finances are tight, and they were so kind, understanding and compassionate about that), compiled information for me and even went so far as to research which stores in the area I could find specific foods that were recommended by Dr. Caelli Edmonds as she recommended them. It didn't even stop there, later that evening I called with happy news that Cooper had eaten and by luck it was Dr. Caelli Edmonds who answered and I could feel her actual excitement for us through the phone. Then, they called the next day to check up on us. I absolutely love these people and this clinic. If you want a clinic that loves your four-legged family members almost as much as you do - go to Ridgeview Veterinary Clinic.

Today we met Dr. Jessica Puccetti, and I can sincerely say we are so blessed to have found such an amazing veterinarian. Our senior dog had an ear infection, and did not appear to be feeling his best, but he really warmed up quickly to the staff who gave him lots of special attention and affection. They knew just how to welcome a new client and make him feel like family. I knew this was the perfect fit for all my small animals. I am so excited now to introduce all my animals to this clinic…I feel confident this staff will give them the best care I could hope for and I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Our pups have seen both Dr. Jess and Dr. Caelli, both doctors are so amazing and clearly love. their jobs, as well all pets and sciences of each pet. Their hospitality shows immediately when you meet them. They are so loving and caring with your pet. They are very supportive on decisions we make, if they have a different side of view they will go through all options available as well as the pros and cons. The front office staff as well as the back staff are very helpful and friendly also.
