How to Save Money at Morphis Veterinary Services Inc.
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

My dog ran off and was hit by a car down the street I was unaware that he was brought in by a Kind lady who tried to help him. I was told that they found my dog was paralyzed, and I didn't find him in time so the lady who brought him in gave consent to euthanize. They were told it was the Most humane thing they could've done. When I found out what happened- They lied to me and told me he passed away on his own. I requested the bill they charged me for burial and cremation. I caught it and was able to be refunded the $50. I have on their paperwork that they lied about that too, it says the vet said to credit me when i had to request for that to be done.I requested Paperwork and medical records on what was done for my dog and they didn't do xrays. He survived the night after being hit at 12 AM and was put down approximately 9:30 am. I don't understand why he was put down. I was told well he had no owner and was a stray... What stray do you see that has a beautiful healthy black coat and 100 pounds ? There was no proof that he was paralyzed, we dont even know what kind of break his back legs had. Or any further care that he would have needed. They said he was not able to move his back legs, which I'm sure because he was 100 pound lab and if they were broken, I'm sure he wouldnt want to move or would be unable to support his weight without back support. My heart breaks and I truly feel they jumped the gun to make a quick paycheck off a very good boy who deserved so much better than that. I pray no one goes through what i have and if you love your animals like i do, DO NOT LET THIS VET CLINIC CARE FOR YOUR ANIMALS. I've seen other reviews of mysterious dog deaths and now I just feel I'm part of that. I will be getting justice for my good boy. I also don't believe they truly weighed him at his examination because on the patient records it says he's 75 pounds (and I had just taken him into Hartfield in holdenville who i recommend and he was 93 pounds there.) Sad excuse for a vet clinic. They dont help animals, they kill them when convenient to their pockets.

Dr. Morphis and her staff saved my dog Hank's life. He was recovering from a splenectomy surgery performed by another vet. Friday night, around 10:30 PM, Hank's stitches opened up and he was very close to having his insides come out of him which would have resulted in a gruesome painful death. Dr. Morphis met us at her clinic late at night and performed emergency surgery to clean things up and patch him up. There was not a vet open within 50 miles of us but her. We are so thankful God helped us find her and save Hank's life. Thank you so much Dr. Morphis.

I greatly recommend Morphis Veterinary to Friends and Family. These people are the most awesome. They saved my baby girl Carens life. They came out on Sunday in the evening and performed an emergency C-section and I can't thank them enough. If anyone would donate to a good place this is the place.
