I cannot not say enough amazing things about this place! I have had dogs my entire life and been to many different vets. Shaker Square Animal Hospital is by FAR the best I have ever been to. Also- pricing is AMAZING!! Best in the area. That staff treat your fur babies like they are your actual children. My doggy has vet anxiety (biggtime), and the first time Dr. Kim met him, he hungout on the floor with him 80% of the visit so Cookie was comfortable. Even the vet techs are like the amazingly sweet and fun babysitters you are excited to leave your kids with. Cannot say enough good things- you should bring your pets here ASAP. PS. Behold Cookie Monster coming out of anesthesia after he had his teeth cleaned (lol).

My little Heaven is not a fan of the vet. We decided to come to this clinic because it’s closer to home, and on a recommendation from a neighbor. Dr. Kim and his assistant (terribly sorry, I forgot her name) were so kind and patient with Heaven. They took good care when drawing her blood and even gave her cookies. Dr. Kim suggested a plan for my dog’s teeth so I don’t have to unnecessarily put her under for teeth cleanings. I am just overall impressed with everything from the care they took, the environment, and the cost!

Inexpensive compared to other vet offices. Best vet I have ever been to. Nina’s comfort seemed to be one of his top priorities! Even though I was late they still took me in and provided quick service. When Dr. Kim walked in he noticed my Nina is a little nervous but also protective of her mommy, so he suggested that he hold her in his lap, pet her and give her a treat before moving forward, just to show her that everything is ok. He was very respectful when telling me that she is a tad overweight and I need to make some changes😂🤦🏻♀️ Dr. Kim caringly cradled Nina while the vet tech tried one leg to draw some blood, and unfortunately it didn’t work on the first one. But she did not just keep poking my dog, she suggested Dr. Kim do it but he encouraged her to try again. So, she took a deep breath and tried the other one (she seemed nervous, so she must have been new at this). But she got the blood they needed on the second try☺️ I think I have finally found Nina’s permanent veterinarian!

Extremely satisfying service provided by Dr. Kim and the entire team. I usually take time to write any review and that’s what I’m doing now. We have been visiting this place for more than three years now and undoubtedly we will continue going there. Our female Beagle is going there since her puppyhood. She’s always happy with her vet team. She likes to meet them and enjoy their company. We are blessed that our Beagle never showed unpleasant feelings while they are handling her. She is not afraid of taking vaccines which means that the vet team are taking good care of her. Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable, but most importantly he is reasonable by all means. His suggestions and recommendations are useful. His opinions about vaccination and/or medicines are relevant and reasonable. The team members are professional and responsive. They always showed their effort to make our visits easy and convenient. We understand that all pets are very important for their owners so, we never hesitate to wait until the previous visitors are done with their stuff. Because when our terms comes, Dr. Kim and his team always gave us enough time to get our stuff done. So, undoubtedly he is doing the same thing to everyone else. They make every effort to accommodate us during their Saturday slots because that’s what fits best with our schedules. We will definitely recommend others to try them. They are doing their best. Best wishes to the entire team for their future endeavors.
