If I can give Modern Vet Care a million stars I would. I have never met such a loving, compassionate group of people in my years of owning pets and going to vets. To make a very long journey short, I came to Modern Vet Care helpless and desperate for a 2nd opinion on my very sick Mango they did absolutely everything I mean exhausted every possible thing they can do to make him better. I was there every week with him. Unfortunately my baby boy Mango just could not fight off the infection and he ended up passing away at home. I brought him to Modern Vet Care to get cremated and get his ashes. I got a hug and thanked them for everything. When I went to pick up his ashes the following week and when I got home I looked through everything and I was just overwhelmed with so much love on how above and beyond they went to give me as much memories of him. I got pictures of his paw prints that I can frame, a beautiful card written by all the staff members, flower seeds to plant and this is the one that had me bawling even more than I already was. We opted out to pay to get his paw print molded on this clay plaque and THEY STILL GOT IT FOR US. I miss my Mangocito and think about him everyday. I will never forget him and he will always have a place in my heart. I am so thankful to still have a part of him his sister Kiwi! I am also so thankful that she has a such a amazing Veterinarian group to go to and provide for her.

Wanted to make sure I left a 5 star review. I was recommended by a friend (also a vet) to Modern Vet Care for a dental procedure. I wanted to make sure my 14 year old dog Wally was in good hands under anesthesia especially with his age. We traveled all the way from NJ to Astoria and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Dr. Emily and Ashley went above and beyond in caring for Wally and successfully removing 8 teeth. The procedure went smoothly and he healed perfectly in time with proper care and medication. He was no longer in pain, back to his happy self. Unfortunately Wally passed away recently from old age but I wanted to thank the Modern Vet Care team for their genuine concern and care for Wally while he was here. Thank you!!

I wish I could give ten stars. I thought my cat had a UTI on a Friday as she was using her litter box almost every 5 minutes. I was having trouble finding a vet that could see her before the weekend but was lucky that Modern Vet Care had a last minute opening. The entire staff was so kind and welcoming. I felt incredibly at ease and heard expressing my concerns. The assessment and plan were explained to me in detail and I was included in the decision making process in regards to treatment. I will now be taking my cat to Modern Vet Care going forward as I was so happy with my experience.

this is the best vet clinic ever. i have brought 3 of my cats here so far and will bring my 4th one soon. not only is Dr. Ehmann amazing, the technician that’s always there (never caught their name) is incredible! they have cared and loved for our cats incredibly and are very knowledgeable in what they do. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a vet. kind of pricey but it’s worth it to make sure your pets are in good hands!
