The ONLY vet I would take my cat and future pets to. Dr. Selkowitz and his staff are the kindest and most compassionate people out there. They truly care about your pets and will do everything to make sure they are safe and healthy, both during and after your visit. We’ve been going to them for about 2 years now and every visit is just wonderful. They truly go above and beyond and deserve so much more recognition!! If you’re a new pet owner or looking to switch vets, I HIGHLY highly recommend them. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. We truly appreciate everything that you’ve done for our boy Leo.

East rockaway vet has some of the most compassionate staff that I’ve ever encountered. They have an exotics vet that takes care of animals like rabbits, but also two other vets that specialize in dogs/cats! I brought my bunnies here for their spay/neuter and nail trimmings & it has been wonderful each time. Today I took my new kitten, Atari, to the vet for her first checkup and the experience was smooth, informative and seamless. The staff is very transparent, kind and helpful with this new addition to our family. I asked so many questions and our veterinarian was so patient & answered each one honestly and with her professional opinion. Atari was purring for the majority of the appointment because she knew she was in good hands :) Atari has another appointment in a month for her next round of vaccines, and I can’t wait to see the ER vet staff again to show them the progress our little girl has made! Thank you for making this process easy and stress-free & for caring for Atari as she’s your own. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

We love Dr.Xanthos! There’s nothing like a neighborhood vet to solve a problem for your furry family member effectively and affordably. After going to one of those new, fancy chain offices that solve nothing but charge a whole lot, I’m so glad we found this office. Scheduling can be a challenge but never impossible to get in quickly, price is on reasonable and the experience of the doctors and techs are unbeatable!
