Affordable and only non-profit clinic in Santa Fe. I had a few issues that will result in me and my animals not returning. Pets are taken into the back and examined away from pet parents. I could hear all 3 of my dogs yelp (only temperature and basic exam were completed). My animals came back to me terrified and shaking, and would not let Dr. Conradson touch them again. His demeanor was hostile and disrespectful. I was also told that I would get a discount for bringing multiple pets in at the same time, and was charged full price for all 3. One of my dogs had a tooth that needed to be examined - Dr. Conradson insisted it was fine and was just plaque/tarter build up- after a second opinion, the tooth was broken and needed to be completely removed. I felt like my animals were not treated kindly, that I personally was treated with disrespect, and that I was taken advantage of at a clinic that is supposed to help.

I always have a great experience here. My boy was sick with severe diarrhea and I was so worried. They performed routine tests and confirmed an acute case of pancreatitis. They gave him fluids, pain medication and antibiotics. They are very accommodating to people who can't afford vet care. We will always count on the Clare Eddy Thaw Animal hospital! Thank you for caring for my babies.

Fast service, and the Dr. Was very caring and encouraging with my old dog. He listened and agreed to do what I requested for her, and also offered alternatives if I wanted them, but did not push for them. As in giving her more medication than I had requested.
