I already love this place for my sweet little fur baby. Everyone that I have met so far has been super sweet, professional, and most importantly, loves ALL the fur babies! I have watched different interactions in the lobby and witnessed my own between the staff and my precious pup. Those interactions have just melted my heart with how much care and love you feel from the doctors and staff for our little animal babies! I am so glad that we decided on this place to be our vet clinic!

Startown vet has been a part of my community for a very long time, My fur babies definitely are proud to call this their vet!! You will be hard pressed to find a better, more compassionate group of individuals that really go above and beyond to care for their patients. They truly understand how important our fur babies are to us, they treat each one like their own. The vet techs are always so warm and inviting and work so well with my animals, who can be a bit of a handful sometimes 🤣. Dr. Barlow is awesome! His attention to detail definitely helps ease some of the anxiety that I believe every fur baby owner has when it comes to vet visits. And to top it all off, they don't try to take your whole life savings when it comes to taking care of your animals. A 10 out of 10 for sure.

I’ve been bringing my pets, as well as my family’s pets, to Dr. Pennell since he opened in 2011. He always provided the best possible care, and I didn’t think it could get any better, but it has! He has grown his business, and now has four top notch veterinarians. I especially appreciate that they provide Fear Free medical care. I’m so thankful that we have Startown Veterinary Hospital here in Newton.

This place is top notch. From the time you walk in you’re greeted with nothing but smiles and love for your pets. Dr.Barlow is fantastic and knows how to make your pets feel at ease especially when it’s time for vaccinations. He is great as well as the entire staff. I highly recommend this place of business.

Love them there very kind and do there best to make my fur baby feel comfortable and give your peanut butter and cheese to calm her and keep her distracted while they took blood 🩸 for her test very great place totally recommend them!
