This place started going downhill in the past year or so. Quite after Dr Keb left. She was patient, kind, knowledgeable. After she left I haven’t had a set Vet for my dog.. but the absolute worst experience was to deal with Dr Robyn McFerren. The worst “doctor” I’ve ever met. After essentially telling me to drug my dog or else they would essentially not be my dogs vet, they proceeded to charge a ridiculous fee for holding my dog down for a vaccine. Their cashiers are rude, entitled. I’m willing to drive miles away for better care and customer service. It’s clear that these doctors only care about money and not about the care and wellbeing of animals.

Mixed Pet has been my veterinarian for nearly 20 years. They know my pets and they know my family. They have always found a way to answer any question and squeeze me in when needed. They are flexible in their approach and always have provided me with options and quality care

We love Mixed Pet Veterinary Hospital. It’s bit pricey and we travel a distance but we love all of the staff. Muffin is treated like he’s their own! That matters and we love that!! Mixed Pet Veterinary is worth the sacrifice for our little Muffin!!!! ❤️ Oh!! and I can talk to Dr. Schoolmeester all day. He so reminds me of Richard Dreyfuss 🤣 (in a good way).

I haven’t been a customer here, but my grandmother has. After being a loyal customer since they first opened, it’s now become clear that the vet here doesn’t care about her dog- just her money. After trying to treat multiple issues her dog had, the vet apparently decided to”it’s just time to put her down”. Yes, her dog is older, but she still has plenty of life-she’s just in pain and needs help. But no, since trying the same medications multiple times doesn’t work, the only logical route of action is to put down the dog. Apparently this was the last straw (despite us trying to convince her to go somewhere else for years). We were finally able to take her to get a second opinion that same day, and that other veterinarian told us this was completely wrong and she just needs to be treated. So glad we found a vet who is focused on the well-being of the dog and not the wallet of the owner. Do NOT go here!
