Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists - Hoffman Estates

As someone who has seen and dealt with emergency vets a lot since getting my wonderful French bulldog, sushi, 5 years ago, I thought I knew what to expect when walking into Thrive. This place exceeded all preconceived notions on what an ER vet is and can be. Everyone was so nice and warm and helpful. As busy as they were, we were seen quickly and efficiently and the plan for treatment was in place within 30 min of being there. They were able to diagnose and treat my sushi baby and saved her life. I will be forever grateful and a customer for life. Thank you thrive!

I had the most amazing experience with my first visit to Thrive! I saw Dr. Cochran in the neurology department for my pup. I was so nervous for the appt and he was beyond wonderful. I walked out with no questions, I felt so much better about my girls situation, he put me at ease, he gave me options and explained everything so thoroughly. I would recommend Dr. Cochran to anyone that needs to bring their pet to see a neurologist! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Please do your own research and ask for the test numbers of your pet if your pet is in overnight care. Thrive knows the money paid to keep my Opal on what was essentially life support is TAINTED. Everyday they will tell you that they are "resting comfortably" (see below), but it is nothing more than to give you hope that your pet will come home to you. They knew my Opal was on her last days but they wanted to get every last penny out of us. See attached for what they mean by "resting comfortably"

We are so happy to have found Dr. Wirth and her nurse Becky. They are very personable and easy to talk with. I usually have many questions and have always gotten great information from both of them. Our little pal just started his chemo treatment Monday, 2nd one will be today. So far so good. We were given all the options that are available and feel confident that we have made the best choice for all of us. The hospital is spotless, there has never been more than maybe 5-10 minute wait. We are pleased. Jett is happy to see his ladies and that makes us happy too. I highly recommend them and their caring and expertise.

Dr Katz and his whole team and staff did an amazing life saving surgery for my dog, they were not biased or treated my dog any different because his breed as I’ve seen before because his breed. My pet needed a small intestine obstruction surgery he was very thorough as to what he was going to do. He was very transparent on the risks versus the reward and he didn’t once make me feel uncomfortable with leaving my pet in his care, especially when he needed to stay there overnight as well. They would answer every time I would check on my dog, and never once acted annoyed or anything. They all understand that your dog is like your kid and they’re there to tell you every step of the way on how they are doing when you don’t have them with you. I can go on with a bunch of wonderful things to say, but in the end dr Katz and his team did an incredible job on his surgery over all and his incision site looks absolutely wonderful! Now he can continue on to live his best life :)
